Tommy slid on his mask, looking over the warehouse he was breaking into. He hopped out of the van where Ranboo and Tubbo remained and he scurried up a tree that was taller than the roof.
"Kingmaker to Theseus, Kingmaker to Theseus, do you read me?"
"This is Theseus, I read you Kingmaker."
"Good, there should be an air vent on the roof that you can access. Get into it."
"Gotcha."
Tommy leapt from the to the roof, rolling to break his fall. He was the ground agent of their little squad. Tubbo was the tech guy, give him a computer he could break into it. Ranboo was their information gatherer. He claimed to have his sources, which the other two never questioned, and had the remarkable ability to follow the tiniest clues to get the information. That's how they found out about this crime ring. They were just about two months into this bust and this was where all of Ranboo's research had lead so far, another lead to crack this bitch.
Tommy slid into the ventilation system, dropping lightly down.
"Okay, you're going to wanna go straight until the second turn, then take a left, understand?"
"I gotcha, Kingmaker."
"Be careful, Theseus."
"Always am."
Tommy carefully move down the vents as quietly as he could. There was no ticking time bomb, so he didn't have to worry about going quickly. Stealth here would be key. Tommy took a left, then waited for further instructions.
"Okay, now, at the next opportunity, take a right. You'll be right above a password locked door. Behind there will have the master computer. Place the trojan and get the fuck out."
"Copy, Kingmaker."
Tommy dropped down from the vent as quietly as he could, landing softly on the floor. He moved carefully, sticking to the shadows. The camera feed had been fucked with, supplying the warehouse with a supposedly calm night, but there could be patrols.
He got to the door, where there was a keypad. Not the high-tech hologram they were expecting, but it would be easier to crack. Hopefully.
"Okay, there's a keypad with numbers 0 to 9. Four spaces for numbers."
"Okay. Eventide, any clues?" Tubbo asked to Ranboo.
"Working on it, Kingmaker."
Tommy smiled at their codenames. Of all people, it was Tubbo who wanted super badass names. That's how they ended up with their own weird amalgamation of names.
"Try 1066."
Tommy nodded and punched in the code, smiling when the bar above the keypad flashed green.
"I'm in."
"How'd you know that would work, Ranboo?"
"It's the date William the duke of Normandy conquered England. Seems these guys are history buffs and really relate to him."
There was a laugh from Tubbo, but Tommy tuned them out as he slid up to the computer.
"Needs a password, boss man."
There was a rustling of paper and furious clicking, probably from Ranboo.
"Try Alphacast, it is the company name. It's worth a shot." Tubbo offered. No dice.
"Alphacast is such a stupid name for a company." Tommy mumbled. "There's a password hint, 04-27-XX." More clicking before Ranboo supplied an answer.
