•A Night to Remember•

I blasted MGK's music in the car because I was so hyped for the show. The concert hall wasn't that far from my house so it didn't take too long to get there. When I finally arrived I called Kayla and asked where she was.

*On the phone*
Y/N: Hey, I'm here.
Kayla: We're getting parking right now, where are you standing?
Y/N: I'm at the front in a crop top and jeans.
Kayla: We just parked, I see you and we're heading your way now.
Y/N: Bet, I'll see you.
*Hangs up*

Kayla ran to me and hugged me. I hadn't felt a genuine hug in so long I almost cried.
Kayla: Omg hi, I've missed you.
Y/N: I've missed you too! Who are your friends?
Kayla: This is my boyfriend, Jacob and my best friend, Isabel.
Jacob: Hey!
Isabel: Hey!
Y/N: Hi guys, it's nice to meet you!
Isabel: It's nice to meet you too!
Jacob: Happy birthday by the way.
Isabel: Yeah, happy birthday!
Y/N: Omg, thank you so much!
Kayla: I'm glad y'all are getting along but could we maybe do this inside.
Y/N: Oh my bad, let's go!
We walk in the concert hall after showing our tickets and find a place to stand.
Kayla: Perfect, this is a great view!
Y/N: I can't believe we get to be this close!
Kayla: He'll definitely see your sign from here.
I get nervous when she says that. Yeah, I want him to see it but what if he hates it? What if I embarrass myself in front of everyone? I've always been a bad overthinker and I hate it. Isabel noticed be feeling anxious and asked what was wrong.
Y/N: Should I even hold up the sign, I think it's dumb.
Isabel: Kayla showed me it and I personally think it's a great idea and a great sign.
Y/N: Thanks Is.
Now that I was calmer I was ready for the concert. Luckily for us, it was just about time for the opening act. The lights go dark and JXDN comes on stage. All you can hear is tons of screams in the audience and his amazing voice. He sang a few of his best songs and he was doing so good. I noticed he was making some eye contact with Kayla and I was shocked. Her boyfriend didn't seem too happy but we ignored it because we were having such a good time. After JXDN finished performing we had a break to catch our breath. We were already losing our voices from screaming all his songs. I stood next to Kayla and talked to her about what just happened during intermission.
Y/N: Okay I know he was giving you HELLA eye contact.
Kayla: You saw that too? Omg it was crazy.
*Jacob looks towards us with an angry face*
Kayla: I mean that was horrible, what is his problem?
Y/N: Huh?
Kayla: *whispers in my ear* That was heavenly, I wanna go back. Don't tell Jacob.
Y/N: I would never.
Kayla and Isabel try to reassure Jacob and suddenly the lights went dark again. Even more screams filled the atmosphere and I definitely was the loudest there. MGK had finally came on, it was the moment I waited so long for. He looked so good I was in love. He was singing and I sang along to every word. His third song in I finally gathered enough courage to hold up the sign. The third song ended up being Candy which is obviously a fan favorite. When he got to the part where he changes the lyrics he pointed to me and my sign and said "Happy Birthday to this girl right here". I was literally about to faint but I refused to. When he changed the lyrics he pointed to me and I screamed so loud. It was one of the best moments I'd ever experienced.  When it was time to bring a fan on stage he helped me up and next thing I knew I was on stage with the love of my life. I could see Kayla recording as I was shaking on stage. We sang on stage together and everyone loved it. After the song was over he said stay after the show and I'll bring you backstage. I nodded with a huge smile and stood back with my friends. We were all screaming out of excitement. MGK continued the concert and kept looking at me and held my hand a few times. Kayla got tons of pictures and videos to remember this night forever. Eventually like all good things, the concert came to an end..
