The Negotiation

" Baby we have viewed more than 50 dresses, let's get some rest first. Let's make a deal, why don't we get something that's  ok for you? " 

" Ok I still want Zuhair Murad's collection. That will still be winter so I need you to wear a sexy classic one but comes with a coat. Hold on let me call  the staff, I think a formal dress will do."

He dialled his manager to confirm if a formal dress is allowed and apparently formal or evening casual was the theme, but for the Hollywood VIP premiere, tux and ready to wear evening gown was recommended. 

"  Baby, you are lucky, KKT says we can wear any formal. So I let's go for the classic ones ok?" 

" Hmmm ok. I am a little sleepy, can we take a nap?  I will be away by the way for 2 days, we have a conference at Four Seasons hotel and it would be easy if I come home, it's only 15 minutes away from here. " 

" Oh, would you want to stay there? I can get us a room and you can come home to me and Aein at a suite room." 

" Baby, our house is more comfortable and I want to come home to you, in our bedroom, not in a fancy suite in the hotel." 

" Ok then whatever you want baby. Are we  really ok now? "

" Baby, yes we are, are you still having doubts? "

" Of course not, I am just so scared , I think part of marriage is having fears and challenging events.  It's so new to me." 

" And for me too, I think  what they say is true, it won't be rosy all the time." 

" I know, but I don't want any other fights, oh let me rephrase, I don't want any of those cold war. It's a killer." 

" Sorry I just don't know how to deal with something like what we just had, I always end up cold and isolating myself." 

" They say marriage will go through a lot of these things  and  I think a good talk will help us  deal with it, every time .Take a nap now,  I will just watch some sports, it's been awhile. "

Ye Jin dozed off after a few minutes while Bin was  enjoying the ice hockey on TV. He used to play when he was in school, but his all time favorite now is golf and baseball. 

 After an hour  he went to check  Aein and was amazed that she was playing the abc blocks with Nanny Chon Hee. 

" Hi Bin oppa, she loves this toy so much. I think Aein is a smart kid." 

" Thank you Chon Hee,  why don't you take a break first, I will look after her." 

" Ok , I will help eonni Chun in the kitchen.  Would you want the abalone soup and grilled fish oppa?  Eonni Ye Jin asked us to take out both, meat and  fish." 

" I think the fish will be good, gomawo Chon Hee. What's Aein's  food?" 

" Eonni Ye Jin already prepared it earlier. She will have minced beef with carrots and rice." 

For some reason Ye Jin's nap has been longer and it was almost 6PM, Bin had to wake her up after giving Aein a bath, because she gets cranky when she misses  her meal which Aein inherited from her.

' Hi baby, it's 6PM. C'mon let's have  dinner. Aein had her evening bath already." 

She half opened her eyes and smiled as soon as she saw her favorite people who were both seated on the bed.

" Hi. How long did I sleep?" 

" About two hours babe. Aein give eomma a kiss? " Bin let her lean closer to her eomma and he also gave Ye Jin a kiss on the forehead.
