For You

It was the longest 3 days that Bin ever had in his entire life. Longer than any scene he filmed ... it was this one special day that he never thought was coming so soon.

January 11 was Ye Jin's birthday. Her first birthday with someone special after high school. Bin picked her up from her place and they went to church together. Since it was a weekday, only a few people came to attend. They didn't notice Bin, except for two younger ladies but they were not sure as well because he was wearing a cap . After the ceremony, they both lit a candle by the grotto of Mother Mary and since Bin isn't Christian, Ye Jin had to explain things to him.

Bin already prepared his flowers but he hid it in the back seat, he didn't want to startle Ye Jin, with flowers and other gifts because he knows she doesn't like any luxurious stuff but today was different, he wanted to give her something special.

Just like what they agreed on, Ye Jin and her family had a birthday breakfast together with Bin. Her father kinda' knew what was going on but he didn't want to get involved. Ye Jin already told her sister too, and advised to guard her heart because he isn't just one of those ordinary men.

" Bin, please look after my daughter and I trust you. She's been very independent but I still leave her safety with you. We may not be powerful, but I am a father and she is my daughter, please take care of her."

" I will Mr. Son and I will make sure her safety comes first among others. "

" Abeoji, we shall head soon and Yu Sun , don't be stubborn ok? Imo will be away for two days, I will go camping ok? Please make your homework on time."

" Yes Imo I will, I will be Halabeoji's bodyguard."

As soon as Ye Jin packed all her stuff including her camping gear, they went back to the beach house and got some more camping essentials. Bin has asked Manbok and his wife to stay in the house while he is away and his little getaway was something he and Manbok already talked about. Manbok has been a loyal caretaker to the Kims and so far he also tries his best to protect Bin from paparrazzis or even the locals .

" Have a good time, that place is nice for relaxing and Bin-ssi I don't care if you are an actor, Ye Jin is like a younger sister to me, please take care of her."

"Yes will do Hyung, you are the second person who told me this I should be scared now.'"

In less than an hour they found a spot on the hilly part of Hyeopjae Beach Campsite. This was Ye Jin's favorite place because it's far from where most of the campers are. She made sure the closest shower is close to where they are so they can take shower earlier than the rest. Not a lot of people go camping on winter, but since it's not like Seoul where snow is everywhere at this month, some would still come , especially Ye Jin. This was like her "me" day. Sometimes she and her high school friends, Hyo Jin and Min Jung would come, but since the other two are both working in Daegu, they rarely see each other these days.

Bin set up their tent while Ye Jin was preparing the food they will be having for lunch. Both also brought sleeping bags and two thick fleece comforters to keep them warm. Ye Jin had fears as this is her first time to be camping with a man, plus the fact that they're still getting to know each other. Her mind was full of things but her heart has been waiting for something like this for so long.

While she was busy preparing food, Bin went to get the flowers he has been hiding at the back seat and a small cake and something else.

" Happy Birthday to my sweetest girl. " He handed her the flowers, lighted the candle on the cake he bought the night before and a small pouch .He also kissed her on the cheek and gave her a hug.
