Divergence basically gives her superpowers, more advanced than other divergents. Most people don't know about her, she was hidden in a lab till she could finally escape when it was safe so she couldn't be seen as a divergent to others. If you've read Maximum Ride by James Patterson, then you know what I'm talking about. Basically the Erudites changed and advanced her genes to where she is 90% human, 2% avian, and 8% divergent. All other known divergents were 98% human 2% divergent. She was I guess you could call it an unknown species.
