5 July 1980
One fine morning a month after when Draco was born, Rodolphus came to the manor. He used the floo method and showed up in Lucius’ study.

"Rodolphus, you're not welcome here" Lucius stands up from his seat and stare at Rodolphus sharply.

"Lucius, I'm here to congratulate my sister in law for the new baby.." Rodolphus tried to show his best smile but it looks awfully fake.

“Well, she’s resting at the moment so I’ll send her your congratulations and you can leave now.” Lucius stood there and waited for Rodolphus to leave.

“I know she’s here” Rodolphus sneered as he walked closer to Lucius.

“Who?”

“Who else?! My wife!”

"She's not here" he lied calmly.

"I know she's here. I used the tracking charm on her. Don't lie to me, Lucius. Where is she?!"

“Then why not come sooner?” Lucius snarled coldly

Rodolphus did not know how to answer that. Lucius did have a point right there.

"If you cared so much for your wife that you used a tracking charm on her. Why didn't you come sooner? How long was she gone?"

Rodolphus did not know what else to do so he put on his stance wanting to put a curse on Lucius but before he had the chance something else hit him first.

"PETRIFICUS TOTALUS!" Narcissa yelled from the door as she knew Rodolphus wanted to use an unforgivable curse on her husband and then she fell down sitting leaning herself to the door out of shock.

"As I have told you before Mr. Lestrange. You are not welcomed in this manor and I think I have made myself clear enough. Now leave." Lucius said in a cold and stern tone as he countered his wife's spell to give the other man a chance to flee.

Rodolphus wanted to kill them that very moment but he decided not to because he knew it wouldn’t change anything and floo back home just to keep his dignity.

"That was close.." Narcissa chuckled nervously.

"You okay? Did we wake our baby dragon up?" Lucius asked softly as he kneeled beside his wife and embraced her.

"No, I put a silencing charm in the room secretly as soon as I heard him walk through the fireplace." she smiled and hugged her husband for comfort.

Lucius gently caressed his wife's hair and kissed her forehead.

"You're very brave today love…" he whispered as he helped her stand back up.

"He looked like he was going to Avada you.. Someone has to do something. Draco needs his father watching him grow up." she answered softly while gently carresing Lucius' cheeks.

“Well he looked like he was going to use an unforgivable on you as well. Thank goodness you’re fine.” Lucius chuckled.

“I’m glad you are too,” Narcissa smiled in his embrace, still a little bit shaking from the shock.

"I'll go check on Draco, maybe you should check on Bella and tell her what happened and remind her to have lunch. She’s been missing meals lately."

"Good idea.." Narcissa smiled at her husband.

"I love you" she whispered into his ears softly.

"I love you too darling, be careful," he said as he gently brushed her lips into a deep passionate kiss which was then broken by Draco's loud crying.

"Only because you asked me to" Narcissa smirked as she broke the kiss and walked towards Bellatrix's room.

"Sis?" Narcissa knocked at her sister's bedroom.

"Come in!" Bellatrix called from inside. She's currently doing some death eater work in locating their muggle targets and plans for another war.

Narcissa slowly walked in and saw her focused sister. "Rodolphus came.." she said softly.

"and…?" Bella asked but didn't look away from her papers.

"Lucius sent him back home"

"Okay, thanks."

"You good?"

"Yup"

"What are those?"

"War plans... You have anything to say?"

"Oh… Ummm, lunch will be ready in a few minutes. Let's have lunch together."

"Didn’t we always have our meals together?" Bellatrix finally lifted her head off the papers, smiled.

"Well you missed some lunches so I want to make sure that you're not starving yourself to death" Narcissa chuckled.

"You know I wont" Bella smirked and they then walked together to the dining hall where she found Lucius struggling to calm crying baby Draco down.

"I'm sorry, he usually isn't this fussy." Lucius half-smiled while trying to calm screaming Draco down.

"Aww... Come here… Mommy's got you" Narcissa cooed as she lifted Draco from Lucius’s arms.

Bellatrix smiled at the happy couple and deep inside wished she could do the same with the man whom she loved but that man is not Rodolphus. Did she even like men in general?

Narcissa was still bouncing Draco in her arms when suddenly Bellatrix asked "Can I try to hold him?"

"Of course!" Narcissa smiled brightly as she handed Draco to Bella gently.

Bella cradled the baby in her arms smiling at her nephew and starting to feel a small swell over her hip bones.

Her motherly aura shone through and she for once looks…. Human again. Not the deathly war strategy maker who’s expert at throwing curses and hexes.

She looks like a normal human being, a sister, but most of all now, a mother.
