It was night, they both went inside the palace, both were holding each other's hands and there was no one around.
"Devika , don't you want to say anything ?" said yudhishthir in mischievous tone . She understood what he wanted to hear from her , she made an innocent face and said "can't you see that I'm lost in sea of you , your smile gave me life and your presence make me happy , and rest you know everything dharmaraj , I don't need to say that right." saying thus her cheeks turn red .
" I know my princess " he said lovingly and caresses her hair which make her blush more . He released her hand and said "good night dear , go and take rest , and I'm letting you go this time but remember what I want to hear, you definitely have to say that next time " he said winking at her .
She giggled and said "let's see what happens , for now I'm going , good night dharmaraj ." She left from there and he chuckled and shakes his head smiling and he too left from there for his chamber .
Devika was very happy , she was going to her chamber humming and then suddenly collide with kotikashya who was in hurry .
"Ahh !! can't you see " he said out loud . " Excuse me !! You were in hurry and you didn't noticed that someone too is coming from other side " she firmly said . " Whatever I'm getting late and I don't want to waste my time arguing with you." he said with a frown and starting going from there .
"Wait" devika called him from behind . "Now what else is left to say , say it quickly" he said . " where are you going in this hurry and that too at this time ?" she asked curving her eye brows .
"I'm going to chedi , I have some urgent work there" he said with a suspicious look . "Chedi ? what such important work have arrived that you are leaving at this night and won't you attend bhrata krishna's marriage" she asked in a tensed voice .
"Why you ask so many questions , and didn't you know that if someone is going for a good cause one should not stop them like you did my dear sister , and matter of involving in marriage I'm not interested in at all " he said with a smirk .
" Good work and you " she left out a chuckle . " Devi , look don't be too much , I'm going there for your sake, later you will thank me for this . And now not a single question I'm getting late and I'm going now ." Saying this he left from there .
Devika who was so happy a moment ago was now very tensed , she was unable to understand what her brother wants to do , he said that he is going there for her well being and this is the thing which was bothering her more and more .
She enters in her chamber and sit in front of the mirror . She start removing her bangles and smiling thinking about what happened today , it was a beautiful day for her she gets so comfortable with him and realized that she had said him things that she never said out loud before and he too did the same .
But instead of all this something was bothering her , his brother who always keep raising problems was now up to do something new . "Is he really going to do something good and if it that so why I'm worrying this much " she mummerd to herself .
She look up into mirror and saw mitravinda's reflection into it and smiles widely . "Mitra jiji , you here" she said in a cheerful voice. " Yes devi " she come closer to her and put her hands around devika's neck from behind .
"Devi , I didn't saw you from evening where were you " aksed mitrvinda with mischief in her eyes . " Jiji it seems like you have come to know everything " she said turning towards her elder sister . " No No devi , I didn't know anything tell me na where were you " said princess of avanti making an innocent face .
" Nothing can be hide from you and your lord , so stop pretending jiji " devika said and giggled.
" My little sister , I'm so happy for you , I see you this happy after so many days " said mitravinda and took devika in warm embrace .
" So how was your meeting with bhrata yudhishthir" mitravinda asked. "It was nice jiji " devika said blushing . "Only nice or something more special " said mitravinda teasing her sister.
" Jiji you too .... " She said hiding her shyness which make her elder sister chuckle .
They both sat on the bed and devika put his head on mitrvinda's lap . "Is something is bothering you devi?" Mitra asked . "Yes jiji kotikashy has went to chedi and I'm worried about this I don't know what his intentions are but I'm feeling something suspicious and mind is distraught with worry" devika said .
"Devi , don't stress your self , just trust your bhrata krishna and your dharmaraj , and after a month you are going to be bride soon this much tension does not suits you my dear." Mitravinda said assuring devika not to worry much now .
Devika smiled and closed her eyes and was feeling so relief . Mitravinda is someone who understands devika fully from childhood , who is there when she needs her through good times and at bad times though the one who makes her laugh and share her tears she is her precious sister and a lifelong freind too.
Mitravinda lovingly caresses her hair with sisterly love and affection and smiled looking at her little sister whom she loves from core of her heart.
In Maharaj Govasena's chamber
King of shivi was lost in his thoughts and was smiling on his own . "Swami what happened , what are you thinking?" priyamvadha asked placing her on her husband's shoulder .
"Priye , time goes by so faster than we think , I can still listen that cheerful voices of my chlidren , whenever bhrata Jayasena along with babhishree and mitravinda use to visit shivi our palace got filled with love and laughter of our childrens , I wish I can freeze the time and go back again in those days and see my childrens grow up all again" Maharaj govasena said with moist eyes .
" Yes swami our childrens had grown up so fast . We have seen our both princesses growing up together , playing together and laughing together from chlidhood they always being with each other , day after tomorrow mitravinda would get married and then a month later a our yaudheyi too." Priyamvadha said resting his head on his husband's shoulder .
His heart became heavy thinking that his dear daughter will soon get married and will go away from him " I still can't believe when did my little pauravi grown up , I don't have fear of losing her because I know she can never leave me she will always be in my heart , my daughter is my very own world . The thing I'm afraid of is that will I be capable of leading her to the right person ? " He said in a heavy voice .
" Swami , when you will going to talk to Krishna regarding invitations of swavyamvar? " She asked . " Tomorrow priye and I know no one else can suggest me better than him . By the way kotiskashy has decided to send some invitations by his own." he said .
"I hope that kotikashy does not take any wrong decision " she said. " I hope same , don't worry he is her brother and will take decision for her well being only." He said assuring her .
