All beautiful ladies gathered in ceremony hall for pre-wedding rituals. It was a beautiful sight , the entire hall was decorated with flowers whose fragrance was delighting the atmosphere.
Subhadra , valandhara and vijaya was teasing mitravinda who was responding shly thinking about her beloved murli manohar.
Soon the rituals took place. The function started with playing of songs.
Queen rajadhidevi tied black thread on her daughter's right arm to protect her from evil eye.
Everyone had lot of fun , the hall filled with laughter of Queens and melody of their anklets , having sweet banter and playfully teasing each other.

After returning from function Devika quickly went to krishna's place. She knew that today her father had meet krishna to talk about her swayamvar . She eagerly want's to know everything about their discussion. She stops in front of Krishna's chamber and ask guards to inform dwarkadhish that she want to meet him.
The guard came with permission and devika walked in. "Come devika" said krishna who was looking at someone from his balcony.
Devika slowly went there " bhrata not there look mitra jiji is passing from that side " listening to her he quickly turn to see where she indicate but found no one. Devika laughed seeing him struggling like this to get a glimpse of his beloved.
"Yes , now you too laugh devika , do you know I haven't met my beloved from so many days and instead of helping me you are making fun of me " krishna said with fake anger.
"Bhrata , if I want then too I can't help you cause you also know it's a ritual" said devika " nothing is impossible devi , infact the truth is that you don't want to help me , cause your mind is somewhere else and not only mind your heart too . I'm right my dear sister." krishna said in mischievous tone.
"No bhrata , I mean yes ..." She bite her tounge knowing that she is caught too.
"If you know everything then please tell me bhrata what discussion happened between you and pitashree?" She asked.
"Hmm so eager to know " krishna said teasing her " it was not a discussion though " krishna thought to play around " then .." she again aksed him. " Maharaj govasena wants me to suggest him some kingdoms to send invitation and I did so."
"So , wihch kingdoms did you suggested ?" She eagerly asked. "Gomanta , nasikya , suhma , utkala , vidarbha , kirata and hastinapur." Krishna stated .
Mention of hastinapur shocked devika and more than that he didn't mentioned indraprasth. She looked at him with questioning eyes " why hastinapur bhrata?" " If I don't , then kotikashya have must done it anyway." Said Krishna.
" But still bhrata " she said in melancholy. Again with a hope she ask " and what about indraprasth ?"
" No , I din't mentioned indraprasth at all " He said casually "and , hastinapur don't worry about that , just assume it's a part of a plan."
"Plan, what plan bhrata? Please make it clear to me" she pleaded. " Devi calm down , very soon you will know everything . And there is a good news for you , not me but maharaj govasena himself decided to send an invitation to indraprasth." He said patting devika's head who was upset before hearing this.
"Really !!" smile covered her beautiful face " Don't you trust me devi?" he said making pout. "I do bhrata." He simlied " now leave all your worries , soon a lot of happiness is going to come in your life."
She nodded with a wide smile. " now let me take your leave , you can continue your work in which you were busy a while ago , might you get success in getting a sight of didi." She giggled and runaway from there , krishna shook his head while suppressing a light chuckle.

A much relief and overjoyed devika went to her chamber . She enter inside and saw tara , she was packing some stuff " what are you doing tara ?" She asked. "Princess , queen priyamvadha has ask me to pack your belongings. Soon after princess mitravinda's marriage we will leave for shivi at once."
She sat in front of mirror "But why so soon, can't we stay some more days here " she said removing her jewellery.
Tara came near to help her " your swayamvar is not so far princess , that's why we have to leave soon."
Tara put her arms around devika's neck from back knowing her freind's heart "want to spend more time with indraprasth naresh right "she teased her. In response devika blushed which makes her cheek goes crimsom red.
"Yes tara" she said and got completely lost in her thoughts .

" You yourself have came to give invitation , why kotikashya?" Shishupal asked. " The news reached me that freind jayadrath is here , anyway I'm not interested in attending Krishna's weeding at dwaraka." Kotikashya said .
"I think you too don't like that krishna."
"Right chedinaresh , everyone is busy in praising him everytime , they don't know him , he use to decisive people and even he abduct my cousin sister from her swaymvar." He said frowning.
"He is like that only " added jayadrath
"Beware of him he will might try to create ruckus in your sister's weeding" jayadrath said offering him some drinks.
"Don't worry this time I have already well planned everything , just want to make someone too part of this plan , it would be difficult but I will do it anyhow " saying thus kotikashya laughed evilely.
