Jungkook and I , woke up at the break of the dawn as he has planned something which he wants to keep it a secret from me .

It turns out that we are going somewhere . Where ? Again I don't know and I don't even mind as long as there are food and proper bathrooms .

Since he asked me to pack my bag with both some casual and warms clothes , so I can't even guess where he is taking me .

So , not to overwork my mind , I decide to simply enjoy my time with him I am going to an unknown destination with my husband whom I love , why do I need to worry about anything else ? We stopped once for gas , we already had our breakfast at home which consisted of last night leftover pasta so we are good for now .

Since then we are driving continuously , enjoying the beautiful scenery outside . Actually , the scenery outside is just normal , nothing special , but having this man beside me makes everything special .

I found that even making simple eggs for breakfast is so much fun when you are with the person whom you love . You can have one of the adventures of your life , in a boring grocery shopping when you are with the one who makes your life interesting .

I feel real - life romance lies in these simple and ordinary things . Date nights , long drives , etc , these all things are considered romantic because they are meant to be romantic .

However , ordinary day to day life things is where the actual romance is hidden . Helping each other in household chores , taking care of the other without letting the other one know , listening to their stories with the same interest even though you have heard them a thousand times before .

Ordering their favorite food without even asking them what they want to eat . Or sending meaningless texts throughout the day just to see their name on your screen .

This is what romance is .Leaning my head against the window , I stare at jungkook while a soft smile turns my lips upward because this simple drive has also turned special just because I have my jungkook with me . My smile slightly widens as he sings under his breath while trying hard to hide his enthusiasm for this little getaway .

His fingers are drumming on the steering wheel with whatever he is humming . Again I don't mind not knowing the song or the lyrics , as I focus on the tone of his beautiful voice allowing myself to feel content while savoring all these moments with him .

" What ? " He glances at me with a smile that makes me feel the luckiest girl in this world . “ Nothing just staring you . " I shrug , shaking his head he chuckles and grabs my hand interlocking our fingers .

" Aren't you curious to know where are we going ? ” He asks

" You look calm . " " I look calm because I am " I tighten my hold on his , “ I don't need to know where I am going , as long as , I have this hand . " I slightly raise our conjoined hands , “ In mine . " He brings our interlocked hand and kisses my hand , making my heart flutter with thousand of butterflies .

" Then you will never have to worry about anything , as I never plan on leaving this hand ever . " He smiles , “ I have promised to hold your hand for life and I plan to keep my promise till my very last breath . "

We have been driving on the grassy road for a few miles in the woods , and jungkook only left my hand to shift the gears otherwise , his hold remained on my hand .

And I love it .jungkook has a really confident personality , he knows what he is doing . But at the same time , he is the most fun person you can ever know , however , his this side is mostly for his family .

I feel lucky to find a best friend ... a confidant in my husband . I never thought I will say this , but I love being married more than I loved being single .

Jungkook has just stopped the car in front of a log cabin and I am already squealing with excitement while crushing his hand in a tight grip . It is the place , whose picture , he has shown me a few days back and I instantly fell in love with it , I love these rustic looking cabin in the middle of nowhere .

Even though we are not exactly in the middle of nowhere , but still we are in the middle of vegetation with no other house in near proximity . Jungkook laughs looking pleased with himself , as he glances at my reaction .

Opening the door we grab our stuff from the backseat and climb the four wooden stairs of the front porch . Jungkook retrieves key for his pocket , while I bounce on the ball of my feet as I look around .

The porch has one single wooden bench beneath one of the windows , beside the main door . On the other side , there are some empty plant pots one the corner of the porch . The scent of pine wood is overwhelming my senses , engulfing us in a peaceful and calm feeling .

The moment I turn to look at jungkook is the same moment when my feet leave the contact with the ground as he scoops me up in his arms . " jungkook ” I shout as my heart is racing crazily due to the shock .

He gives me a boyish grin and leaning down he touches his nose with mine . His eyes are locked with mine and I feel myself getting lost in his gaze .Whenever our eyes meet I feel nothing but sincerity and honesty in his eyes .

This has been the same even when I have met him for the first time . It seems like he doesn't have anything to hide from me , his heart holds no secret . He is like an open book , which is just mine to read .

We are so close , yet I want to be even more close to him . I raise my hand to touch his face , as he closes the distance between our lips . A sweet and gentle kiss , evoking all the feelings in my heart which are accompanied by him . We both break the kiss at the same time , breathing in each other . His forehead resting against mine as his eyes hold my gaze unwaveringly .

Oh , God , I love him . I love him so much . Without thinking I tilt my face up while bringing his face down .

" I love you , " I whisper against his lips a moment before when our lips touch . Closing my eyes , I kiss him trying to reveal my feeling without the needs of the words .

I want him to feel the love which I carry in my heart for him ... to let him know that he is the sole owner of my heart .
