Eli POV

Pushing my hand forcefully through the crater of rock that now tries to crash and consume my very body, grunting when I feel my arm give way slightly as I grit my teeth together and using the last of my strength to free myself. Fuck, my muscles buckling when the poison slowly works its way through my body. My hair dampening as sweat continues to drip down my forehead, breathing in a deep breath I feel the rock becoming less heavier gradually being lifted off of me,

"Eli.Eli- you okay?"

Recognizing the voice instantly it belonging to my long life friend Tyler. His long claws stretched around the rock lifting it up and then throwing it miles away from where I was laying on the ground.

"Shit."

Spitting out blood that now coats and fills my entire mouth, his big yellow eyes staring downwards at my body knowing he can smell me bleeding out.

"I'm fine."

Grumbling as I push pass him, his body still transformed into a one of the beasts that I knew would be hunting me now. His snout moving as he sniffs the air in his werewolve transformation, his teeth growling when a crack a lightening strikes above near us. The clouds grey and dark with a tinge of orange mixed into it from where we had crashed down on to this planet.

"Where are we? It smells- horrible."

I knew where he was coming from smelling the polluted air around us. The air not being nowhere near to what I had imagined it having being told of the stories of this planet and the funny little creatures that live here.

"Earth."

Scanning the area we now stand in, a forest of trees having once been here but now their remains burning to ash as fire circles around the outer side.

"Wow. This is Earth?"

His black fur disappearing now changing back to his naked form looking more fitting for this planet since he looked human when he wasn't transformed. All of us more a like than we would care to admit even if this was one of the weaker species that we had decided to not interfere with, yet.

"It's so- different."

I knew where he was coming from having never visited the planet myself even with the thousand of years I had been alive and served as General on our home planet leading and defending other galaxies from harm and destruction.

"We should move before she sends more of her ugly assed minions to come finish you off. That was a close one, too close for my liking Eli."

His bright yellow eyes glowing as the smoke begins to cloud our view.

"Plus I'm kind of hungry."

His tongue licking his lips as if he was thinking about food.

"Your always hungry. But you know what we must do. We must protect her."

Stating the obvious earning a half sided laugh from him as he forgets and pats my back harshly making me growl outwards when a flash of pain fires at my side. Idiot.

"Sorry."

He mumbles now remembering that I was wounded and severely bleeding outwards. Pushing forward we start to make our way towards the remaining forest, the trees branches swaying side to side as the heavy wind blows against them, their screams of pain deafening me as I listen to their whispers.

"What have you done. Our sisters. Brothers. You have killed them."

"Wait."

Commanding us to stop as I slowly kneel to the ground. The ashed ground underneath our feet thick full of innocent tree blood. Once being life and now surrounded by death. Closing my eyes I push some of my energy outwards, the warmth of my power stirring awake in the pit of my stomach slowly traveling across my body until it reaches my fingertips. Stretching my hand out I imagine the land to no longer be on fire but the rebirth and regrowth of the fallen trees that had once set their roots here.

"Eli-"

Placing my hand on Tyler as I feel him try to pull me back as he realizes what I was doing.

"Thank you...."

Opening my eyes I stare upwards at the trees that now tower above us no longer being a burned down ruin of forestry. The leaves swaying and shuffling as the sound of wildlife comes back to life, being able to hear and feel the vibrations of rabbits thumping their feet on the ground and deer's grazing as they venture nearer towards us no longer threatened of our presence being in their home. Maybe we could have a life here. Maybe we could disguise ourselves as human.
