   This is a Theory by Smike (subscribe to him on YouTube! Hes amazing) about the Purple Guy. We think about this question many times, and it may never be answered. Who is the purple guy? So here is the theory. Why does the purple guy wear a badge? You may think its because he might have been a former security guard at the pizzeria. Well this is what Smike thought. What if purple guy was a cop? I mean, it is a bit far fetched, but it can be pondered on.

   But this is not the only reason Smike thought this. So we all know the death mini games, right? I hope so... So anyways, you are chasing the marionette through the pizzeria. But in rare occurrences, the purple guy will show up and chase you. And if you were to be caught, you would be left with a blue blur and a message in the bottom corner of the screen reading, "You Can't". This may seem to hard to connect with the whole "Purple is a Cop" thing, but it will all make sense in a sec.

   You all know the iconic object the purple guy holds in his hand. Many suggest that it is a phone, or even a flashlight. But What seems most likely is that its a Tazer (or however you spell it lol). Cops, in many situations, carry these tazers. (In case no one knows what a Tazer is... it is a small device carried by someone that can shock a person, causing anywhere from a small amount of pain, to being able to cause big damage.)

   The reason Smike thinks this to be true is that after Purple touches you, the screen will flash BLUE and then go blank... You are playing as Freddy, Freddy is an animatronic, a Tazer would be capable of shutting down his system! And blue is the color that is mostly associated with electrocution! Therefore (if this were true) the object is a Tazer!

   But now, we have to think. If Purple Guy is a cop, then why is he bad??? Did he go rogue? Mabey he was fired? We may never find out... But as of now, I think its pretty safe to assume that Purple is a former cop/police man.
