The Beggining Of The End

during the first period on the last day of school, all the teachers were going on and on about how they were gonna miss these students even though they all know they're not gonna care unless you got straight A's. Sarah texted the group chat

"Yeah, they're gonna miss us so much" making Kennedie, Corrine, and Josie's phones vibrate in their pockets. Pulling out her phone Corrine responded with a simple "Come on you've been in their class for 9 months an hour a day and you don't feel a tiny bit sad that we won't see them again."

"No, but clearly you do" Kennedie accused.

"Wanna come over to my house after school?" Sarah asked. 

"sure"

"why not"

"I'd love that"

"Yeah sure I'm already out of school anyways"

after school, the 5 girls walked in sniggering while turning on the telly. The news was the first channel and It immediately stopped their laughing. The news was talking about how they're turning off the oxygen in 11 weeks.

"hey, we c-could hang out like- like all summer," Maya said crying

"So we only have 11 weeks," Josie said, her lips trembling.

"So.. what do you say we, we go to erm go get boba?" Sarah says through wrenching sobs.

"Sarah, nows not the time," Kennedie says letting out a small chuckle.

"Well let's not waste our last few weeks crying, let's have fun," Josie said. "Live life at the fullest as The newsman said"

"Yea, yeah let's do this, '' Sarah said, getting pumped. A few of us screamed like basic girls getting a boyfriend in movies as we got back on our bikes, skateboards, and penny boards and began riding to the nearest Lake. Once we got to the lake all of us quickly ran over to the dock.

Sarah jumped in first, then Josie being a show-off did a front tuck into the water, Kennedie walked in scared of it being cold, Corrine and Maya grabbed sticks pointing them at each other, and immediately yelled "AVADA KEDAVRA '' the second they jumped. Sarah began dunking all of us underwater.

"HA! TAKE THAT," she said as she pushed Maya underwater.

"HAHAHAHAHA YOUR UNDER, ME," she said dunking Corrine Under.

"OH, NO CLEOR," she said, dunking Kennedie underwater.

Kennedie got back up from under the water and yelled some curse words at Sarah because the water was cold. That lasted until Sarah pushed her under once again.
