Chapter 9: Why?

"Yah Kyungsoo ah where are you going?" Suho called Kyungsoo while he is now in the taxi going to the hospital where Hani is.

"Im going to get my girlfriend." Kyungsoo said in a hurry.

"What? Did something happen?" Suho said in a worried voice.

"Mianhe hyung but its really an emergency. Please tell the others." Before Suho speaks up again Kyungsoo already hangs up and turned his phone off.

All he just have in mind is to see Hani and thats all.

He arrives at the hospital and some people actually recognized him but he doesnt care. He just went to the counter and asks Hani's room number. The nurses out there got panicked by Kyungsoo's presence and immediately give the room number.

Kyungsoo walked to the room number and seemed a bit nervous. As he walked towards the room he saw Hani's mom who just came out from Hani's room. She saw Kyungsoo and went surpised.

"Kyungsoo-ah I thought..." She said with an obvious sad tone in her voice.

"She's been waiting for you. Thank you for coming." She said as she lead Kyungsoo towards the door.

Kyungsoo opened the door and saw a girl lying in bed with an oxygen at the side and a lots of tubes in her body.

It's his first time seeing Hani like this. Her pale skin now becomes more pale as a bondpaper, she is so thin and so so sick.

Kyungsoo's tears fell from his eyes. So all these time she's sick?

Why she hasnt told me? Kyungsoo just stayed with Hani that day thinking and realizing how things turned out like this. He doesnt want Hani to go. He wants Hani to stay.

Hani's parents came and told Kyungsoo all the things that Hani is hiding from him. Hani is supposedly to have her heart operation after their one week relationship agreement. She agreed to take the operation after that one week, but due to strong emotions she felt that night she wasnt able to wait till one week to have her operation. She fainted in the middle of the streets and was immediately rushed to the hospital. The doctor then asked to have an immediate heart operation.

But after the operation. Hani hasnt still woke up.

Strong emotions? Kyungsoo then remembered that moment when he kissed Hani. Maybe he was the reason of those emotions. His subconscious blames himself he is the reason why Hani is now being like this. Kyungsoo felt mad at himself. How is he so selfish who doesnt even noticed how sick Hani is.

He just looked at how Hani being an annoyance and bothersome but never comes to his mind why she is being like that. Hani's parents told him that Hani wants to be happy and not to worry everyone. She wanted to leave the world with everyone remembering her as a jolly girl.

This ached Kyungsoo's heart. He really felt so sorry to Hani. He shouldnt have kissed Hani at that night with no reason, he hates himself. He then remember why Hani doesnt want him to like her maybe because she doesnt want to hurt him when in fact he was the one who hurts Hani.

Unending realizations came to Kyungsoo at that time.

An issue of Kyungsoo visiting to the hospital over a girl spreads over the internet. Kyungsoo cleared the issue by saying he is visiting his greatest fan. The reason why Kyungsoo didn't tell the truth is that he doesnt want the people to say bad things to Hani. Eventhough there is inside of him who wants to tell the world that it is his girlfriend, he chose to hide it.

Hani needs him now and he just want to take Hani back. Back to his world.

Kyungsoo always at the hospital secretly to take care of Hani. He remember all things that Hani wanted during their only date and he wanted to fullfill that.

He sings Hani, read her stories everyday and even bought her gifts.

"Hani-ah, you need to wake up to unwrap these gifts, arrasseo? I know you'll like it." Kyungsoo said and kissed Hani's forehead. He held Hani's hands tight. He squeezed it and doesnt want to let go of this hand again. He realized how Hani changed his world. How Hani is important to him.

The 2 days span of Hani's life turned to weeks and months. The doctor said that it is such a miracle that eventhough Hani is still asleep, she is still breathing normally.

Hani's family never lose hope that someday, they will gonna see Hani's smile again.

But one day, a day of unpredictable and shocking event happened.

While Kyungsoo is being busy practicing with EXO, someone calls him and told him a very heartbreaking news.

Just this morning, Hani stopped breathing. Kyungsoo's heart tightens upon hearing the news. He just doesnt understand why.... they thought everything is okay, will be okay...

He fell his phone onto the floor and with tears started to roll down on his cheeks. He felt pain, deep inside his chest. A truth that he can't hide anymore. Hani the girl that he love, left him.
