When Olivia woke up the next morning, she felt Fezco's arm wrapped around her. They were facing each other, and her head was buried in his shoulder.

She looked up at him and saw he was already awake, staring the same way he was the night before. He kissed her on the forehead, making her smile.

"I have to go to school." Olivia groaned, burying her head in Fez's neck. They both closed their eyes again, neither of them ready to get out of bed.

"I can drive you to your place and then take you there." Fezco offered, his head resting on top of hers.

"It's okay. I need a ride to mine, but you don't have to drive me to school. I know you probably have shit to do today." She told him.

Once they were dressed, they walked out of his room and went downstairs. Olivia saw Ashtray sitting on the couch and decided to say hi before she left.

"Good morning, Ash." She said, a smile on her face. He turned around quickly and gave them both a disgusting face.

"Both of you need to shut the fuck up." He said. Olivia and Fez exchanged confused looks.

"What?" Fezco asked.

"I heard you guys last night. Next time be more mindful of other people's sleep schedules." Ashtray told them.

Olivia raised her eyebrows, her face turning red. She decided to leave right away, starting to feel a little bad for Ashtray and a little awkward.

After Fez dropped her off, Liv showered and went to school. Both of her parents had already left the house for work, so she didn't have to worry about them.

Olivia, like the rest of us, thought it would be a normal school day. Unfortunately, Nate had to fucking ruin it.

But what else is new?

Liv sat in intro to pro calc in room 202. It was in the upper west wing of the school, where the building was usually the hottest. She was confused when she saw Maddy Perez sitting with sunglasses, a hoodie and a turtleneck on.

"Is the air conditioner, like, not working?" Olivia heard Maddy ask the teacher.

"It's broken. You could always take off your hoodie." The teacher suggested.

Class continued as normal until it was time to leave. Olivia had noticed Maddy fell asleep, which was weird. Liv always had this class with Maddy, and she hasn't fallen asleep once. She was going to wake her up, but she decided to just keep walking.

About an hour later, the questioning started. Every student who the principal knew of who was at the carnival was getting called to the office. That included Olivia, and she started to get a little nervous. Liv always knew what was going on in this school. Right now, she had no idea.

"What did he ask about?" Olivia asked BB, who stepped out of the office. The two girls starting walking down the hallway side by side.

"He literally just asked about the "altercation" between Nate and Maddy at the carnival." BB said, putting air quotes around altercation.

"What altercation?" Liv asked. BB furrowed her eyebrows and glanced over at her.

"You didn't hear?" She asked.

"No. I left early." Olivia said. BB smirked, and Olivia shoved her side. She knew BB knew that meant her and Fez left to hook up.

"Well, Maddy was pissed at Nate because he's gay, so she knocked a bunch of chili on his mom. Called her a cunt, too." BB said, talking casually. Olivia stopped walking, grabbing BB's arm.

"Wait, what?" She asked, wide eyed. Olivia realized she had been so caught up with Fezco, she didn't even know the drama in her own school.

"Yeah. Because Maddy found a bunch of dick pics in his phone and freaked. You didn't hear that from me, though." BB said. Olivia stared at the floor, and they both continued walking again.

"Holy shit." Liv muttered.

"Olivia Jackson, please come to Principal Birkett's office." The announcer said on the speaker.

"Your turn, bitch." BB said. Liv gave her a small smile and started walking away.

"See you after class!" BB yelled after her. Olivia gave her a wave and made her way to the office.

"Hi, Ms. Jackson . Please take a seat." Mr. Birkett said, Olivia stepping in. She gave him a smile and took a seat like he said.

"Listen, I know you're one of my best students here and most likely have no involvement in any of this mess. But I'm qualified to ask every student that I know of who was at last weekend's carnival." Mr. Birkett informed. Olivia crossed her legs.

"I don't really know much, but I understand you have to ask your questions." She said. She was kind of lying. She did understand what was going on.

"Great. Uh, did you see Madeleine Perez and Nate Jacobs at the carnival?" Principal Birkett asked.

"I didn't see them together, but I did hear Maddy arguing with Nate on the phone." Olivia told him.

"Do you know what they were arguing about?" Mr. Birkett questioned.

"No, sir. But, they argue all the time, so it wasn't out of the ordinary." Olivia informed.

Birkett nodded and wrote something down. Olivia tried to sit up and see what he was writing without him noticing, but she sat back when he looked up again.

"Do you know what they usually argue about?" He asked.

"Um, no sir." Liv replied.

"Okay. Well, if you didn't see them together at the carnival, those are really all the questions I have. Again, I apologize for bugging you with this, Ms. Jackson." Principal Birkett said. Olivia smiled, standing up to leave.

"No problem." She said.

"Keep up the good work." Liv heard as she was leaving.

I saw Olivia walking by the table me and Jule's were sitting at during our free. I gave her a smile, which she returned.

Both of us looked over at the doors opening when we saw Nate walking through with the cops. I thought it was weird, but with everything that happened with him and Maddy, I wasn't surprised.

The look Nate exchanged with Jules and Olivia threw me off. Jules looked like she knew something she shouldn't, but Olivia...

Liv looked confused. Nate stared at her as he walked out like he knew something she didn't. Different than the way he stared at Jules. I felt bad for Liv. She didn't even know what he meant, you could tell. There was just something in his eyes that looked like he was holding in a secret.

I was scared it would end up stabbing Liv in the ass.
