Emil had seen this many times before. He often didn’t understand his older brother. He knew that the magic would kill him sooner or later. He was surprised that the older nation had lasted this long. It was his fault. When he told his boyfriend this. He looked at him.
"It's not. You're not a murderer. You don't know him like I do.  He'll come out the other side. Just wait and see."
He thought that they were crazy. They were a better family than the one he had but even they didn’t listen. He noticed the large Russian at a table with a bottle of vodka and a glass. He decided to talk to him.
"Excuse me... Sir... Do you have a moment?  Can we talk?"
Ivan ignored him. Emil took the silence as a no. Soon, he rang up his brother and agreed to meet him. It was the only hope. They agreed to meet in a cafe. Emil had gotten there before anyone else. He didn't get up when he saw his older brother. He wasn't happy to see him. His brother obviously felt different as he greeted him with an awkward hug.
"I missed you.  You're coming home. "
"No. You need to fix Yao. Now."
"No. He tried to split us up. He will pay."
"It's what I wanted. I hate it. Can't you see that?!"
He pulled away from his brother's tight embrace and walked away.
"I'm done. When you're ready,  come talk. I might consider you family then. "

When Emil returned, something in the air had changed. Leon was not to be seen. Ivan was sat in his place,  staring at the wall. A shiver ran down Emil's spine. He was speechless.
"I tried. He wouldn't cooperate. Is he? You know..."
He didn't want to say dead. Ivan looked up at him and shook his head.
"Not yet. We recently learnt that Yao's with child. We don't know if he'll survive it. I don’t know what I'd do if it survived and..."
Ivan couldn't finish the sentence. He felt guilty. It was his. No doubt about that.  Arthur used his magic to find it out. He came in daily. Occasionally Countries came and went. Kiku came often. He brought presents for everyone, as a distraction. It works for five minutes.

Weeks passed.  Leon was sitting by the door, as usual, he was leaning against the door. He didn't expect it to open. When it did, he fell backwards. He looked up at a beaming Chinese woman with a small bump.
"Careful. Are you alright aru?"
Leon's eyes widened. He then scrambled up.
"You're like, okay?"
He held Yao in a tight embrace.
"Hong Kong? Of course I'm alright... I've survived worse. Where is everyone else aru?"
Leon told him. It was time for a world meeting. This one is being held in Russia, Moscow.
"I need your help aru."
He knew what the older nation needed. He nodded.

Finally finished! Reveiws are love! ^-^
