Reunite with someone

Sonia was still running when she bumped into someone and fell.

"Ooff!" she said then she looked up and saw it was Shadow.

"Sonia?" Shadow said and helped her up.

Then to his surprise she held onto him crying.

"What happened?" he asked wrapping his arms around her still shocked.

"K-Knuckles d-did w-what y-you d-did l-last year! Only with his exgirlfriend!" she said shocking him even more.

That shocked him and everyone else at what they see. Especially Tails, Amy, Cream, Rouge, Silver, Blaze and even Alex.

'Knux would never cheat on someone he loves.' Alex thought.

Then they heard Knuckles running and panting.

"S-Sonia let me explain. Jade pulled me into the room and kissed me! I don't love her anymore!" he said.

'That makes more sense.' Alex thought.

Then he saw she was holding onto Shadow.

Everyone but Alex glared at Knuckles.

He opened his mouth but was cut off.

"I don't wanna hear it!" Sonia said.

"He's telling the truth Sonia." Jade said.

Everyone looked at her.

"What?" Tails asked.

"I'm his exgirlfriend. I still love him and have no idea why I cheated on him." she said.

"She cheated on him because of me. I've had a crush on her my whole life and after Knuckles got her I was jealous but happy for him so I hid it. Then one day I ended up kissing her." Alex said. "I lost my best friend after doing that. And a good black eye to." he continued then looked at Knuckles. "That really hurt! Not as much as the other one though."

Everyone stood there in silence and Knuckles ignored him.

Then to everyone's surprise Sonia looked at Shadow.

"Can we go somewhere else?" she said.

"Um, s-sure?" Shadow said still surprised she even looked at him.

Then they headed outside.

Tails, Amy, Cream, Rouge, Blaze and Silver looked at Knuckles and Jade.

"Knuckles I-"Jade started but stopped when he looked at her.

"SHUT UP!" he yelled shocking everyone. "I JUST LOST THE WOMAN I LOVE BECAUSE OF YOU! IF YOU HADN'T'VE CHEATED ON ME I WOULD PROBABLY STILL BE WITH YOU BUT AFTER CHEATING ON ME WE BROKE UP!"

Jade's eyes started watering in guilt.

"Wait a minute wait a minute," Rouge said. "You two really did used to be a couple?"

"Either you tell them or one of you four. I'm not doing it again." Knuckles said and left.

They nodded and Silver explained what happened.

"Ouch!" Amy said.

"Yeah." Blaze said.

Then they looked at Jade and Alex they nodded.

"This is all my fault." Jade said.

"I think it's both our fault because you just made him see what happened that day two years ago." Alex said.

Meanwhile Sonia was with Shadow.

"It's OK. I'm sure he didn't do it on purpose." Shadow said holding Sonia close.

"H-how do you know?" Sonia asked starting to calm down.

Shadow stood there in silence for a second.

"He's not the kind of person to cheat."

Then they looked at each other and remembered what they did before they broke up last year.

Then they got closer and for the first time in a year they kissed.

They shut their eyes and opened up to let each other's tongue go into the others mouth.

A few minutes later they let go and took a deep breath.

"I'm really sorry Sonia. I didn't know what I was doing."

Sonia sat there in silence and held onto him.

"I don't know what to do Shad." she said.

"It's up to you. But know this, I'll always love you and open if you ever need me."

She nodded.

"Now, why don't we head to lunch?"

She nodded again.

So they got up and headed to lunch.

It felt weird walking with Shadow like before.

She didn't know what to do. She hadn't told anyone this but there's a small part of her that still loves Shadow.

'What am I gonna do?' she wondered.
