"Marinette! Marinette!"
I zoned out, again.
"Sorry Tikki. I was just...thinking."
"Marinette. Let's go home. You can think all you want later."
We walked home and I went straight up to my bedroom. There were already pastries in a box on my desk, so I just grabbed for a chocolate crossaint and sat down while still thinking about Adrien's visit to Master Fu's. She didn't know he was a Chinese teacher, but I guess he'd have to have a job to stay under cover from Hawk Moth. Then another idea popped into my mind.
"Tikki?"
"Yes?"
"Do you think Cat Noir could be...Adrien?"
"Uh, no? I me- he couldn't, right?"
I started getting a little suspicious. Tikki never really acted like this.
"Tikki...."
"Marinette. Stop spinning tales and thinking about unnecessary thoughts. You're not supposed to be trying to find out Cat Noir's true identity in the first place."
She snatched the crossaint from my hand and took a bite. Typical? I think not.
"You're acting different today, Tikki."
"No I'm not!" Tikki protested.
"Sure." I said, sarcastically.
I still had to catch up on some homework, so maybe Alya could help. I called her.
"Girl! You can't believe what I just saw!"
"What?"
"Cat Noir coming out of Adrien bedroom!"
"Who coming out of who's what?"
"Cat. Noir. Coming. Out. Of. Adrien's. Bedroom." She said, one word at a time.
I was in shock. Maybe they were just friends. Or maybe...they WERE the same person.
"Alya, I have something to tell you."
"What is it?"
"Tikki, Spots On."
