"My, my.." I hummed while I gazed upon the tied frail man in front of me. He shouted nonsense at my face. "I know I heard a compliment in there somewhere."
"You're a piece of shit." The man spat.
"Ah there it is." I straightened my spine and grabbed the knives out of my back pocket. How I loved these knives. The way they spun around my fingers.
The man squirmed in the chair he's tied to. He screamed, desperate to get out.
"Now, we don't need that." I sighed, swiftly pointing one of my knives in his direction, close enough to touch his face. In his feared and tired state he obliged. He stared me straight in the eyes, until I pulled away. My boots barely making any sound on the cold concrete floor of the interrogation room.
"Why are you doing this!?" raising his voice, he pleaded with me.
"I have my reasons." I shrugged and faced away from his shaken state. Then turned back to look him in the eyes, while still twisting the knives around my fingers. "Reason being that your little brain has something I want. Information."
I grabbed his jaw with my free hand, squishing his cheeks together.
"What did you do with the bodies?" I smiled. This man looks like the type to break under pressure. Weak. He sat for a split moment, carefully thinking out his answer.
"I'm sorry sir, but I don't know what you're talking about." He responded in a muffled tone, while trying to stop his voice from quivering. I sighed heavily and let go of his face.
"Do you want to make this harder than it has to be or are you going to cooperate, Charles?" I said in a stern but lazy tone. He shivered at the mention of his name, or it could've just been from the chilly atmosphere. I walked around to the side of his chair, still spinning the knives in my left hand.
"I told you already! I do not know what you're talking about!" He shouted at me. Yelling normally has no affect on me but this guy is really getting on my nerves. I then moved so fast he had no time to prepare. I reached toward him with my knives and moved one from its pervious hand. I took the knife and pressed it up against the soft tissue of his throat. Just enough to draw blood.
"Please.." Charles whimpered, with tears brimming on his waterline, threatening to spill out.
"So you do know something then?" I smiled cockily. "Enlighten me."
The man stayed silent, and I get impatient easily.
"Where are the bodies located?!" I yelled in his face. With that, tears spilled down his face.
"The top of Pine Mountain! Now please let me go sir!" He shouted, breathing heavy, obviously not liking being shouted at. Possible past trauma that I can use to my advantage.
"See?" I smiled "Now that wasn't so hard was it?" I exclaimed in a very passive aggressive tone. "Now before I bounce," I start, keeping my knives in his line of vision. "I got one last question. Who do you work for?"
"Like I'd tell you, ya bozo." With that phrase coming out of his mouth, I raised the knives back to their original spot on his delicate neck.
"Stop!" Charles yelled, squirming his tied arms like it's gonna do anything.
"Not until I get my answer, so let's do this again. Who do you work for?" I reply in a stern tone, waiting for him to give in.
"Mr. Morrow!" He yelled, after not being able to handle my persistence. I smiled and backed away from him, tapping my earpiece. He sobbed as his hair fell in front of his eyes. He knew his boss was gonna kill him when he found out. My earpiece beeped.
"This is Agent #42, I've got the info. Over."
"This is operations, good work Arrow. Report back. Over."
"Over."
With the conclusion of my interrogation success, I left the room with the man still tied there, but before I completely disappeared down the hallway I poked my head back into the room once more. Charles looked up at my with swollen and red eyes.
"See you on the other side." I gave a small salute and left.
Now that we have him, he'll be held in a jail cell until we figure out who else worked with him on this.
