Well that was a bad idea.
"Everybody out! Now!" I yelled as I put a hand up to block the raging heat that threw itself at me.
We both picked up a guy, I picked up two and pressed my ear piece to call for more people. We always had extra agents waiting on call to come in if needed, and within a minute or so two more agents hopped down from the roof and grabbed the rest of the hostages.
Cam went to grab Mr. Morrow, who was almost engulfed in flames.
"Hurry, before someone gets hurt!"
"Gotcha." Cam said trying to grab the heavy man and hoisting him up. She then sucked in a breath through her teeth, and lifting her leg up and away from the fire. Stumbling away from the fire with the heavy man.
"Hey! Be careful!" I said trying to grab her with hands full of semi-unconscious people.
"Dammit," She groaned and muttered under her breath.
We both made our way out of the building, with everyone out, and the building fully engulfed with flames as soon as we stepped out of the building, Cam walked with a limp as she handed Mr. Morrow and and the hostages to paramedics and officers. The scrawny man suddenly came too as he was being cuffed.
"What's going on?!" He groggily muttered. He looked around to get his bearings and proceeded to put on a show. "Hey! Get your grimy paws off'a me!" He struggled against the cuffs, so an officer pushed him into the car. Mr. Morrow was put in an ambulance to get his wounds treated and then he was to be arrested.
After most of the perpetrators were arrested and taken off to thier designated areas, Cams stood next to me and I watched as her leg gave out on her. I reached out to grab her arm to stop her from falling.
"I thought I told you to be careful.." I breathed and she just glared at me, while tears welled up in her eyes, either from the pain or something else completely.
I helped her walk over an ambulance that was about to leave, but it drove away before I could get there. So I opted to help her to our car instead.
"Could we just go?" I tell the driver. He nods and starts the car. Clove turned to face Cam, who was trying so hard to act like she was completely fine. Clove then looked at me.
"What happened?" She asked.
"Got way too close to the fire, not a very smart decision." I huff, leaning back on the leather car seat.
"Jeez.." Cam muttered, getting irritated with me. Clove looked back out the window.
"Well I hope you get better.," Clove smiled in the reflection on the window.
Cam thanked her and went to readjust, but ended up wincing.
"How's your leg?" I asked looking forwards to the road through the two front seats.
"Fine," She lies through her teeth.
"Well we're almost there and then we can fix you up." I sighed slightly putting a hand on her shoulder and finally looking at her. Her eyes were slightly red when she looked up at me. But she still managed a small smile to console me.

Cam and I were in the medical room back at the agency, rinsing her 2nd degree burn with cool water. Well to be exact Cam just had her leg resting in a tub of cool water. We had also gotten the bullet out of her arm, treated and bandaged it.
"Has the pain gotten any better?" I ask, looking at her right leg. The skin was very red in contrast to her tan skin, and it looked as if someone ripped off the first layer of skin. There wasn't any blisters so it was okay to bandage it up.
