And you say it's hard to keep a secret
Girl don't leave me all alone in this hotel
And these shades can hide us from the streets, yeah

This is not right.
Those are probably my four most-said words in the last two months and a half.
This. Is. Not. Right.
What I'm doing is not right. What we're doing is not right.
But we haven't been able to stop it. Or we haven't wanted to stop it. I don't know which one of the two is worse.
I sigh looking at the ceiling of some hotel in London. We came back to the city two months ago when the fourth leg of the tour ended. We've been doing some promos, some rehearsing, some secret projects... and some other secret things.
Liam sighs next to me.
Shit.
Why is it that after almost every meeting we have, the two of us end up together? We're grown-ups, we should be dealing with the situation like so. But apparently we can't.
There is some kind of something between us and none of us can't stop it. And neither of us wants to stop it. And that is bad. Again, that is not right.
I get up and start getting dressed.
"Where are you going?" Liam asks confused, sitting up.
I sigh as I jump into my jeans and turn to him.
"This is it Liam" I say firmly, "We've been saying we would stop for a long time"
"But..."
"No buts" I cut him, "The tour starts again in a week and we can't be like this. And you know it"
The last sentence makes his smile disappear. And in that moment I know he knows I'm right. This shouldn't be happening. We shouldn't be happening. Or whatever it is that's going on between us.
We both remain silent for a couple of seconds, Liam laying on the bed and me standing at the end of it staring at him.
"One week" he says finally looking up at me.
"What?"
"You said so yourself" he answers, "The tour starts in a week. Let's spend that week together. And then we go back to the tour. And we don't tell anyone"
A whole week with Liam inside a hotel room. That is...
"I have to go see my family, Liam" I interrupt, my common sense somehow stepping in, "I promised them I would go and see them before leaving to Wales"
"When were you planning on leaving?"
"Tomorrow"
"Stay a two more days" he says, "You'll still have five days to see your family. Please" he adds.
I look at him.
"I think it's better for both of us if we stay away from each other"
"That's not how you really feel" he says.
"I know, but it's the right thing to do. Or do you think you'll be able to see me in a week and pretend all that's been happening didn't happen?" I fire back; "We agreed we'd keep this a secret, and it's been very freaking hard. Haven't you noticed the looks the boys are giving us?"
