Falling in love with my character.

The Restroom Man

           I wore a full-sleeved black shirt and blue jeans. I blow dried my hair ,nothing special about it and i took a look at myself in the mirror for the last time before heading out . The car ride was silent .Well, I was annoyed . As soon as we reached the company there were reporters all over the place . I got down the car and went inside the building . The  meeting starts in 10 minutes.I went to the restroom to freshen up ; as i was washing my hands another person came and stood beside me. He was tall and his body was on the muscular side.

"What a perfect candidate for my novel's main character. If only he were an actor...." i thought to myself.

 I went inside the venue hall and sat in my seat. It's about time when the reporters came flooding in and asking questions.

The meeting  started with the host briefing about the novel and the reason to why the director wants to make it into a series and stuff. I was distracted thinking about the man from the restroom earlier. 

"P'Gene" , my manager whispered in my ear telling me that its time to reveal my identity to the public . I wont remain anonymous forever....

I took the mic from the host and stood on the stage . After taking a deep breath ,

"Hello everyone and thank you for coming to this meeting . I am Gene , the writer of To The Man In my Imagination. I am so excited and I am looking forward to see my novel turn into series."

The reporters were confused when i first stood on the stage but then i could see the shock in their faces . 

They were asking questions to which i responded "Regarding me there will be another meeting where i will be happy to answer any questions you have" 

With that I left the stage. 

After that some promotional events were going on and I was bored out of my mind. I put my head down and started staring at my pants , weirdly they seem to be more interesting.

After the event we had a meeting with the directors about the cast and all . The director himself had chosen the cast and he wanted to introduce to the production teem and the staff before their names are officially announced. 

As the cast entered , I saw this one familiar face. I think i saw him somewhere...

"Oh its the restroom man!!" oops i think i said it loud because everyone were looking at me now. Feeling embarrased I put my head down . I heard someone giggle or something and i looked up to see that the restroom man couldnt stop smiling. AND HE WAS LOOKING AT ME!

I tried to stay invisible throughout the meeting and i succeeded at it. After the meeting was finished everyone left . As i was about to leave , i heard someone calling my name . I turned around to see the restroom man .

"Hi P'Gene I am Nubisb...the restroom man"
