Drake tried to keep a straight face as chief started speaking, he started as,
"DO YOU REALLY THINK STAN COULD HAVE KILLED LEO? ."
drake did nothing but nodded , chief continued,
"DON'T FORCE YOURSELF TO MAKE DECISIONS DRAKE! YOU WILL END UP SCARRED . I KNOW YOU KIDS FOR ONLY 5 YEARS AND I COULD ASSURE YOU THIS IS NOT STAN . HE COULD NEVER DO THIS! YOU ARE HIM AND HE IS YOU WHEN IT COMES TO MAKING DECISIONS. I HAVE VITNESSED IT FOR MYSELF.
BUT STILL I CAN'T UNDERSTAND YOU ARE BELEIVING THAT HE IS THE MURDERER. SHAME IS ON YOU DRAKE, NOT HIM.
chief finished his advise and all of a sudden , drake broke into tears, by saying,
SIR! HE IS MY FRIEND, MY FAMILY AND EVERYTHING THAT I NEED AND MORE IN MY LIFE.HE IS THE JOY IN MY HAPPINESS AND HE IS THE LIGHT IN MY DARKNESS. IN MY CHILDHOOD AND EVER AFTER. WHEN HE WAS IN PRISON ,ALL I WENT THROUGH WAS AGONY AND NOTHING MORE. EACH MORNING I CALLED HIS NAME LIKE THOUSAND TIMES. AND EACH TIME HEARING ONLY MY VOICE ECHOING BACK, IT WAS LIKE MY SOUL BEING PULLED OUT OF MY BODY WITH MY HEART BEATTING.
I WAS BLESSED WITH A FRIEND , EVERYOTHER ENVIES TO HAVE. BUT GOD CURSED ME ONLY TO SEE HIM SUFFER AND NOT TO TELL HIM THAT IAM ALWAYS THERE AND I WILL ALWAYS BE.
( cries bowing to the floor)
Even the chief could not hold his post in his mind . he came to drake and pulled him back to his feet. and that is all he needs , a shoulder to lean and a soul to hold to. in the meanwhile , stan was sitting in the prison with all other inmates. he was so ashamed of himself , as he made drake suffer this much. he turned to the sound of the opening door, it was drake he came towards stan with a strong face that only stan could tell a fake barrier to hide the damage behind.
