Part 37: FEE

Stan was shocked to hear his friend scream , but he was more stun to hear a name he has no idea about from his mouth. he dashed to the ICU door.( as he was asked to wait out ). they were using the defibrillator over drake as he passed out. doctors were releived to hear him scream with a load of energy. they pushed him back to the bed and asked him to relax. 

drake was scared he kept pushing everyone as his mind couldn't let him realize where he really is. stan came in and pushed drake softly to bed by saying ,

"IT'S OK. YOU HAVE BEEN DEAD FOR A WHILE. NOW YOU ARE BACK HOME . YOU ARE OK. LAY LOW."

(smiles softly by brushing drake's black hair)

he passed out for a while. later a minute or more he blinked his eyes open to see stan taking pictures of him sleeping laughing. drake thought to light up his photos a bit . he smiled quietly with one bright eye. stan stopped right there and dropped his phone in the bed and hugged him tight. they both sat there and talked for a while . stan was happy to know that drake hasn't lost any part of his brain on the road back there. drake was happy to know that stan is by his side no matter what. 

 after two days, drake got shifted to the normal ward. stan was called out to the reception and was told about the bill they had to settle. stan couldn't leave the hospital as his head and leg and even his stomach hurts still from that accident.

later that night, nurse dropped by to check on drake. she gave him the pills that he need to take. drake was wondering where the hell did this moron go leaving him all alone? anyway drake slept to the clock saying 12. it was like 3 in the night he woke up again to something moving next to him. it was stan . drake pushed him down and shouted,

"WHAT ON EATH STAN?"

he replied by rubbing his eyes sitting on the floor,

" THEY ASK TOO MUCH FOR SEPARATE ROOMS SO IAM STAYING IN HERE WITH YOU. BELEIVE ME I TRIED TO SLEEP ON THE FLOOR BUT IT IS SO COLD . SO PLEASE LET ME SLEEP BESIDE YOU."

drake passed a smile and made way for his childish friend to get some space for himself. they both slept comfortably that night. after a month of stay in the hospital they completely forgot the case they were dealing. they walked out of the hospital with everything settled . when they got back to the station, everyone welcomed them and they had some funny and lovely chitchats. but then the cheif broke the silence on that case by asking,

" OK! SO NOW ARE YOU READY TO TAKE THAT CASE BACK?"

that was when they got hold of the reality , they left the room at once , grabbing their jacket in the rush. chief was left unanswered as usual. they took the jeep that drake 's been keeping out of sight of stan. they went home and gathered ,everything that they thought useful.

it was stan's  phone , when he picked it up the heat got high again.......
