drake asked with a huge surprise and he got reply from the master brain as,
"THE NEXT IS A GANGSTER. I KNOW THIS, NOT BECAUSE I WAS ONCE ACCUSED OF DOING THIS BUT OF ANNALYSING THE OBVIOUS PATTERNS."
"OBVIOUS PATTERNS?"
"YEP MATE, THE FIRST MURDER WAS AT A CAFE, THEN WAS AT A CHEMICAL FACTORY, NOW IN A GANGSTER CLUB THIS MEANS THE NEXT VICTIUM IS A GANGSTER OF THIS CLUB"
"OK. BUT THE CAFE ?! IT STANDS OUT RIGHT?"
"YEP. I THOUGHT THAT TOO. BUT THE CAFE WAS CELEBRATING THE POLICE ON THE DAY OF MURDER SO WE DID NOT GET THE CLUE AT FIRST!"
" MAN YOU ARE BEATING MY BRAIN OUT WITH SUCH A LOT OF INFO"
"YEP. BUT THE LINK IS STILL CONFUSING!"
"WHY IS THAT MASTER MEGA MIND?"
"THE FIRST VICTIUM IS A HOUSE OWNER, THEN LEO (A POLICE OFFICER ) LATER THE CHEMIST AND NOW THE NEXT VICITUM IS A GANGSTER, WHAT THE HELL? WHY THIS RANDOM?"
"I MAY NOT BE SO SURE BUT I KNOW THIS ,IF WE DID NOT MOVE THESE MOSQUITOES WILL EAT US ALIVE"
(laughter)
then they both buckled up and then stan remembered to take a last look over the sealed crime scene. they hit the road. it is definitely a long way home. drake always used to love the travel part in all case investigations . so he just like usual took a back road so that traffics will not blind the natural beauty . the breeze was cold as the jeep lacks the top cover unlike cars, the dusk highlighted the comely corn farms along the road, drake really lost himself in there beauty. but stan's stomach is not an admirer of such beauty, all it admires is food. so he ended drake's dreams in a hotel not big but at least stan could point it as a hotel .
after having had their dinner drake went into the fields with someone in the shop as it was his , he took drake in as he was so interested on looking that beauty. stan was left alone with an old man, not knowing what to talk, he ended up investigating why the renovation of this is only a dream, he had no clue that this is something that will help him later.
