~Perhaps an Arefian~

"Is he an Arefian?" thought Kura.

A/N: This world is a complex one. There's more than just one race and Jellal is apparently an Arefian. Arefians are a race with extraordinary and over-the-top defensive abilities, and Arefians can't formulate energy into any kind of elemental power or any other power that changes the form of energy like Himoko who can turn normal energy depending on the amount into his Earth style with which he can in seconds turn energy to rock unlike Jellal an Arefian who can only form energy-based attacks which are taught fundamentally to everyone. Arefians are all very stoic from birth. A normal person would die if they got stabbed by a knife a few times, but an Arefian could still endure all the pain even after getting stabbed 30 times continuously!

Reachlie and everyone else noticed and had known who Jellal was and the reason he was still smiling. Reachlie smiled went flying and grabbed Jellal's arms and twisted them like they were nothing. Reachlie broke Jellal's arms but he could still move them and smacked Reachlie as she went flying and hit a big tree. Jellal's arms almost instantly healed up and he let Reachlie break his arms deliberately so that his hands could loosen up from Reachlie's glue kyou that was still holding his arms together, but not anymore. Jellal took out his arms created two energy blasts in his hands and infused them with negative energy to create an attack like Reachlie's except...

Jellal made the energy in his hands cover his hands like a sword and Jellal could cut literal trees with one slice from his what he called the "Energy sword" and the sword was more powerful with the negative energy infused with it. In his right hand was the sword attached to his arm and on his left was an ever-growing energy blast only getting bigger every second. If Jellal's current energy blast was put into perspective then the crater Reachlie created earlier was 10 times smaller than the impact Jellal's attack would have. In other words, Jellal's attack was 10 times stronger than Reachlie's attack previously.

Reachlie braced up and started to meditate slowly. In 10 minutes Reachlie's power returned to its fullest as Reachlie regathered her energy.

A/N: Just in case someone thought how does self-healing even work? Then, here's the answer: Energy inside the body is an unlimited resource that can regenerate its amounts every second or so and the best part about it is that no additional food or any other supplement is required. Although you can use pills to boost the process of self-healing in case of major injuries and severed body parts it eventually gets to the body in form of pain in the muscles because when the body gets a big amount of healing energy suddenly, it can't break it down properly and that affects its efficiency in breaking down positive energy for healing in general and when the body does try to work normally afterwards it leads to pain in the muscles and sometimes dizziness.

"I don't know if Reachlie can handle that attack alone, but there's one way to counter-attack it and that's to disrupt the entire pattern and flow of energy in Jellal's attack and since it's bigger, there are more chances of it getting disrupted easily. There are two ways to do so, one, Reachlie could form an attack with nearly half as much power as in Jellal's energy blast and form it on a concentrated point and then throw it towards Jellal's attack before Reachlie's attack would disrupt the entire flow of energy and the aftermath would be a massive explosion that can't be escaped very easily. The other option is to severe Jellal's body so much that it can't generate energy properly to form an attack which is very hard to do considering he's an Arefian and his endurance to attacks is far better than that of all of us here combined. 1 or 2 which one will it be Reachlie" Thought Kura hypothetically as he later proposed the options to Reachlie.

"None I'll take that attack head-on and I have a plan to do so, Kura tell me what happens when you over-heal yourself?" asked Reachlie. "Over-heal! after overhealing the body releases the excess energy and creates a sort of an aura that is concentrated with dense energy and it sort of creates a shield. Right, a shield!!!" Thought Kura surprised.

Reachlie started to heal herself more than she needed to and in around 5 minutes or less, she started to glow from the energy which soon created a translucent glass-like orb around Reachlie which was the shield.
