Life or Death

Reachlie moved confidently with her shield constantly getting stronger, but it would be deathly if something went south. Kura too was worried. On the other hand of the prism, Koura and Lisa were pulling blow after blow on each other like there was no tomorrow. Koura had so far kept Lisa far from interfering with the fighting between the two armies. Lisa used her string style very well and made sure no person would walk away uninjured or even dead.

But Koura had the power of his mind on his side. Lisa released a string from her hand straight towards Koura but he flew down and dodged it to some extent before Lisa released two strings this time. Koura grabbed one of the strings and they were no less than sharp blades. Koura's hand got slit open but he quickly healed his wound. Lisa laughed at Koura's mistake and continued to whip her strings around. Koura sat in one place and thought about what he could do. Koura thought and thought before he realized he could be using earth style. Lisa whipped one of her strings again at Koura but this time Koura used Earth style and created a little barrier although the barrier was breached and blown to pieces by Lisa's string in one shot Koura discovered Earth-style had chances of standing up against Lisa's strings to some extent.

Koura felt the energy piercing his skin through to his organs. He then filled his one Earth barrier shield with nearly half the energy his body encompassed at the time.

Note: Physical attacks or attacks that hurt physically can hold different levels of strength. For example, an attack the size of a speck can have the power of an entire sun all concentrated in one little point or an attack the size of the sun could have the power of a little speck of energy. Appearance doesn't matter to calculate the power of an attack.

Koura used this deceiving appearance of his shield to his advantage. Lisa however had no idea that Koura had nearly half his energy in a shield. Lisa smirked and rushed at Koura prepared to attack. Koura looked at Lisa with eyes of derision and a stoic expression before he slammed her hand with his shield far more powerful than it looked. Lisa took a step back holding her hand in pain and looked at Koura with scornful eyes. Koura smirked once again and before she knew it Lisa woke up to a dizzy head as she saw blood on her hand. Koura wasn't even there as he left her injured being merciful enough to not kill her right there and then. Lisa just remembered one thing which was Koura saying: "The quiet ones are the most dangerous!" before she got hit by Koura's shield in the head.

Lisa lied unable to move as Koura probably stole her energy before he left. Koura was steadily moving towards where everyone else was. Lisa had been asleep for hours and Koura even helped the army of the Land of Fields in their fight. Lisa had completely failed her mission to aid the Land of Barriers' army. On the other hand, Tiing fighting Himoko had drifted far from Reachlie so that Reachlie doesn't get distracted by him fighting and possibly getting injured.

"You think you can beat me!" exclaimed Himoko with a giggle of pride. Tiing looked at Himoko expressionless and slowly started to walk towards him. Himoko too charged at Tiing but Tiing didn't even budge a flinch even once the entire time. "Shut your crap!" said Tiing unimpressed by Himoko's remarks as he kept walking. Himoko came into Tiing's face with a clenched fist trying to punch him. Tiing stopped Himoko's punch with one hand and squeezed the literal life out of it. Himoko was surprised how stoic Tiing had been the entire time but then he tried to punch Tiing again and failed yet again as he got kicked by him in the stomach. It was just one kick at the time before many such rained on Himoko after that. Tiing's power unlocked its full potential. Tiing felt dizzy and as if he was drunk every time the strange aura tingled his body. Himoko had his body used as a punching bag in just a few second thoughts to give up flooded into his mind. Himoko suddenly started to sink into the ground like it was water or a puddle.

Tiing didn't seem to care at the moment before he realized Himoko was rushing towards Reachlie or Kura more precisely. Tiing threw energy blasts one after another ravaging the ground as Himoko went through it. Tiing tried to keep his attacks directed in the right direction following his movements and energy signature, but Himoko moved faster at the exact moments Tiing launched his attacks. Tiing even tried to blast open spots of land from where Himoko would move through in a few seconds or even minutes but seeing light come through the ground Himoko changed his direction for a few seconds before coming back on the right track.

It was a situation of hit or miss. Tiing felt like a failure but he didn't stop trying once. Kura could suddenly now hear blasts afar and quickly contacted Tiing to ask him what was going on. It was perfect timing and Tiing could briefly explain his current condition to Kura and prepare him for Himoko's appearance around his area. Kura quickly thought of what to do and having no option but one he quickly flew and he felt the guiltiest he could've felt in years. Kura took Ari hostage and seized her but he kept his movements gentle with the little girl trying not to hurt her. Reachlie looked at Kura in shock at what he was even doing before he explained everything to her telepathically in a few seconds. Reachlie told Kura to not hurt the little girl even a little bit. Kura's plan was rather simple. Seeing Ari seized Himoko would probably not attack anyone

Before Himoko suddenly showed up blasting open the ground in fury...
