Initially, when Fury added a new member to the team, the Avengers were skeptical because no one expected to see a teenage girl in battle gear other than the Princess of Wakanda. But fortunately, their first impression did not last long because Diana was fast to prove her combat skills, especially when the life of Captain America was on the verge of death. Until then, even his boyfriend Bucky Barnes underestimated the girl, but his opinion changed drastically when the roles were reversed and she used her fiery abilities as her last resort.
Diana: Reactive force *were her key words*
And she wasn't kidding because no one really understood how powerful that is until Fury came in the room with Sebastian a month later with the words that he was adding another new member to which Diana's eyes lit up before she squealed and jumped on Sebastian who hugs her back rightly before they cover each other's faces with kisses while Bucky and Steve growed in jelousy.
Fury: Ah, I really do enjy family reunion, don't you?
Natasha: Family? *asked the gobsmacked assassin not really expecting the turnout of events*
Fury: Why yes. I thought it was obvious. After all, the best resemblance is always seen between the twins.
Wanda: Wait, what? *asked while remembering what he was talking about due to her also having a twin brother in the past*
Fury: When I was looking for new additions, I was sent to a genetics lab where the CEO's son and daughter were volunteers to help out with the genetic operations. But due to the failure of two of the reactors, they were the main people who risked everything to save all the people in the building. However, their sacrifice was not life-threatening, and after a series of explosions, the two escaped unscathed. What was later revealed after some genetic research though was that their DNA had been altered while they were within range of the reactors, and the only reason they survived was because their physique had become a suitable receiver of radiation capabilities.
Bruce: Two children did all this without being affected by side effects?
Fury: Two teenage prodigies Dr. Banner. A boy with unique mathematical knowledge and a girl with excellent geographical positioning skills.While she can burn everything in her path and merge with the nationality in which she moves, he can freeze an entire continent with cold and frost and calculate with full accuracy the positive and negative aspects of the perimeters he works with. Two complete opposites such as the two earth poles and the two absolute extremes (positive and negative) are the perfect combat unit, as well as a last line of defense.
Clint: What are the risks however?
Fury: So far there is no risk. Diana and Sebastian have complete control over their skills and all their movements are designed to be in full sync with the situation in which they find themselves.
Sam: So they are universal soldiers?
Fury: Correct.
Bucky: What about in emotional aspect?
Fury: A storm of champagne, tears and stage magic *says before turning to the twins who move in a performance position
Sebastian: *starts singing* Uh, as he came into the window
