Aside from the fast that Diana was Sam's younger sister she was also Santana's best friend and just as she was about to try and convince her to try out for the New Directions, Santana came to their coffee date just to see Diana helping out none other than Sebastian Smythe with some home work while he was teaching her French at their favorite coffee shop
Santana: you have got be kidding me!
Diana: Try again. If you make such mistakes they will write you a poor grade.
Sebastian: that would be the last thing i want. *sighs*
Sanatana: *marches right up to them* Diana, what are doing with him? *says narrowing her eyes at Sebastian*
Diana: Oh hey Santana! I was gonna call you earlier but I forgot. Sebastian and I have problems with some exams and we were threatened that if we didn't pass them we would be expelled
Santana: hello to you too Diana, you couldn't have asked your brother to help you?
Diana: For what? His grades are also not very good. They may be acceptable, but they are not excellent. Plus he doesn't speak French
Santana: yeah but did it have to be him? couldn't you ask anyone else at all?
Diana: Look I get that you have choirs wars but that is not my problem
Santana: *sighs* then you should know not to trust that guy with anything.
Sebastian: *has had it* stop talking like i'm not even here, your annoying as usual.
Diana: Tell me about it. my brother isn't any better these days
Sebastian: *chuckles* i don't find that hard to believe.
Diana giggles as well before pointing him a blank spot that he missed
Sebastian: oh your right forgot one. Thanks Diana.
Diana: Anything for you Seb. You did help me after I was kicked out of home after all
Sebastian: don't mentioned it. I still cant believe they really kicked you out, Who would kick their own daughter out. *growls and frowns at the same time*
Santana: wait...your parents kicked you out?! *eyes wide and jaw drops* Why?
Diana: Because I learned that I was adopted and asked them to tell me about my real parents. They think I'm ungrateful after years that they took care of me. Sebastian then talked to his father to help me find my biological parents and not be on the streets. I've been sharing a dorm with him ever since at Dalton
Santana: your sharing a room with him?! *gasps her eyes still wide with surprise, shock and disbelief*
Diana tears up shortly after that and looks at Sebastian ready to break
Sebastian: i think you better leave Santana. *says trying to be as calm as he can not wanting to scare Diana*
Santana: why should i? *asks her hand on her hips*
Sebastian: because i'm saying so also your upsetting Diana. *growls out and with a second thought pulls said female onto his lap and wraps his arms around her pulling her close against him*
Santana: Ha, like i'll trust MY best friend with you.
Sebastian: i'm warning you...don't piss me off.
Diana however cuddles into him at that point and lets tears fall silently while her arms snake around his shoulders
Diana: Please drop the arguement Seb ..... I need you most right now *drags out carefully*
Sebastian: *does just that right after hearing it he also immediately calms himself as he begins to comfort Diana* I'm here, don't worry. I got you, i'm not going anywhere i promise.
Santana clenches her jaw at that but decides its better to not upset Diana anymore then she already is and turns around as starts leaving them whether she liked it or not.
