When Sebastian first layed eyes on Diana they were in the middle of a yet another fight between Draco and Harry but for the Warbler that was just another daily thing he was used to seeing. Diana, on the other hand, was like a fresh air to him and vowed to do everything in his power to find away to speak to her at least once. And it wasn't hard for him to do that but what he didn't know was when he did do it, he just couldn't stop. One simple action one morning was that set everyhing off.
Diana walked down the hallway towards the Potions classroom. A slytherin passed by on the run and bumped into her, sending her books flying all over the foor right befor his feet and making him trip into them, thinking he was going to fall over. That howver ever happened because the Gryffindor girl was faster and held him nouh for him to gain back his balance. That small action ticked Malfoy off and was ready to storm down on the muggle-born girl and rain down upon her. But his gay best friend never allowed that to happen and instead, he just waved th Slytherin Prince off before helping her gather her books and caried them for her, not wishing for her to get in trouble again. When h set thm down on her desk tho Diana grabbed his hand as he was about to walk away and a pleasant shock hit them both just with that simple touch. And after them all the build up stress and unwanted distance were reduce to nothing due to the Slyherin pureblood sicking by her side as soon as she whispered a small "Stay..please''. Sebastian thought for a moment of course but decided to throw his idiotic ideas away with the stupid talk that Malfoy had for years about blood status, which was how Snape got surprised when he walked in and saw one of his best students smiling widely as he spoke to the Gryffindor Princess, just as Kurt and Blaine from Ravenclaw also came in and were pleasantly surprised to see how thir biggest rival started to glow around the cutest and kindest girl they had ever met. And suddenly everything started to flow like a simple dream.
Over a week all the bad talk in Sebastian's vocabulary was completely erased and every time the New Directions walked passed him, they were greeted with nothing but kindness while by his side stood none other than Diana Granger herself for whom the Slytherin boy became her best friend and was rare seen without him, even around dinner. Truth was that all it took was one smile and he was already wrapped around her finger. As for the New Directions and Warblers, they found a way to sit together as well due to the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw Houses, actually mixing together with both themselves and their Gryffindor friends with pure joy for them as well to live during a time in which the biggest rivals turned their backs on their differences and gathered as true friends.
It was also interesting that during that same week Sebastian had told his parents in a letter about his new best friend after which came a reply with an invite for the young lady to spend her summer vacation with them since they wished to meet the Princess who succeeded in the most delicate way to occupy a large part of their son's heart. And it was obvious to them that she would occupy it completely and permanently, because they had never seen so much emotion in a simple handwritten letter sent by their own son, who did not particularly like the female presence until now. Sebastian's father was even delighted because his idea was never for his son to be hard-hearted towards people with different blood status. On the contrary even! He was even grateful to the girl with whom he would like to communicate more because of the positive influence she had on his son.
And who, on top of that, was also with a different blood status and was just what he had hoped for along wih wife in order for their son to change her attitude towards people.
However, the only person who was unhappy was the Prince of Slytherin who was as if hit with a wet rag in the presence of his friends and the Golden Trio when he was informed a week later by his best friend that he would spend the rest of the school year with the muggle-born witch, who at this point had become Sebastian's most treasured person and from who the Slytherin boy had no desire to pull away from. The truth was that Sebastian was enchanted from the moment she asked him to sit with her both during classes as well as during their time in the Great Hall, which leads us to this moment when the Golden Trio hear for the first time the Slytherin boy say to his friend who he considered a brother, that blood status meant absolutely NOTHING to him.
