Hey!! Just a little note before the story starts! About up to chapter 5 was written during summer last year while the later chapters have all been written somewhat recently so if theres a change in writing styles or whatever ignore it😭

October 9th, 8:21 am
Nene shoots out of bed and checks her alarm clock anxiously dreading the numbers she'll see on it. She picks it up and checks the time letting out a sigh of relief
"Okay, I've still got time!" She flops back onto her bed and just lays there for a few minutes admiring the basic white ceiling above her
After a couple of minutes, she decides to get out of her bed and get ready for the day since if she waited any longer she'd probably end up late for school.
After she finishes doing the basic stuff like showering, brushing her teeth etc
Nene quickly dresses and is about to head out until she spots a stack of letters on her bedside table
"Hm?"
She picks up the top letter on the pile and opens it, her eyes widening
'𝘖𝘬 𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘻𝘺 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭...𝘺𝘰𝘶! 𝘞𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘪𝘯 10 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦'
Nene continues reading the letter but she doubts any of it is ACTUALLY true. Like at least some random prince guy dramatically rescuing her in a seductive way is somewhat realistic, right?
A letter from 10 years in the future though? In Nene's mind, that's not really possible

Nene shudders at the last part
"Save...Amane...?" She whispers "Who even is that?!"

𝘈𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘦 𝘠𝘶𝘨𝘪 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘸𝘪𝘯 𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘛𝘴𝘶𝘬𝘢𝘴𝘢 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭. 𝘈𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘮𝘺 𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘛𝘴𝘶𝘬𝘢𝘴𝘢'𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘰𝘳. 𝘈𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘈𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘴𝘬𝘴 𝘪𝘧 𝘸𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘬 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳, 𝘐 𝘭𝘪𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘐'𝘮 𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘺. 𝘞𝘢𝘭𝘬 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘩𝘪𝘮
Nene closes the letter deciding she doesn't wanna spend any more time reading this seeing as it was probably some stupid prank anyways! Nene goes downstairs and grabs an apple, biting into it before hearing a knock on the door
"Nene-chan!!" Aoi yells from outside, the two of them usually walked to school together on Wednesdays.
"Coming!!!" She yells back slipping on her shoes
Nene skips out the door saying bye to her parents who are probably still upstairs asleep.
For the whole walk up Nene's minds is still focused on that letter she got this morning, the only sounds that could be heard between the two girls were the tapping of their feet
"Nene-chan?" Aoi calls. She's looking at the girl with an extreme amount of concern one her face.
But at the same time what about that thing about parallel universes they learnt about...
"Nene-chan?!"
"H-huh?! O-oh sorry!!" Nene stutters waving her hands out
"You seem kinda troubled..." The purple-haired girl mentions looking at Nene with a hint of concern
"No, I'm fine, really! Just a bit sleepy!" The radish legged girl says
After a couple more minutes the two girls arrive at school only to be greeted by all their classmates crowded together in the corner of the room which just so happens to be where Nene sits
G r eat
"Geez, what's the big fuss about?" Nene questions placing her bag onto the floor and flopping onto her chair.
"Apparently we're getting a transfer student today!" Kou beams and that immediately sets Nene off
It's just a coincidence, right?
RIGHT?!
"I hope its a super hot girl!" One of the typical horny teenage boys in their class drools, and the pink-haired boy, Mitsuba lets out a chuckle
"Doubt they'll look better than me"
On the other side of the classroom, Akane was doing his usual routine of asking Aoi to date him even though the answer is as clear as day
"Ao-chan please date me!!" He exclaims holding out a bouquet of flowers
She inspects the flowers for a few seconds since they actually smelt pretty good before replying
"Um...no!"
The girl smiles while Akane's expression is the exact opposite.
"E for effort though!! 3/100"
"YESS!! That's better than yesterdays one!" He says happily.
Suddenly their homeroom teacher walks into the classroom and everyone rushes back to their seats almost immediately.
The man clears his throat before talking.
"Before we start the day I'd like to introduce you all to our new transfer student," Tsuchigomori says
It's just a coincidence, it's just a coincidence!
"You can come in now, dont worry we wont bite~"
There was a few moments of silence shortly followed by small footsteps entering the classroom.
A black-haired boy with beautiful golden eyes stands in front of the classroom. He looks nervous but unless you're looking closely you wouldn't be able to tell
"Um hello, my names Amane Yugi, it's very nice to meet you all!" He says bowing his head quickly
