"NO WAY!!" Nene shouts out after hearing that and the whole class turns to face her
Not to mention Mitsuba was laughing his ass off, how mean!
"Yashiro, is everything alright?" Tsuchigomori asks and the girl nods timidly
"S-sorry don't mind me..." She stutters before sitting back down before she ended up drowning in her own embarrassment.
Was the letter actually telling truth? Nene was sure by now that if it was a prank they culprit would've admitted to it
But still...
Her teacher's eyes scan the classroom before landing on the empty seat beside Nene.
"You can sit right over there next to...Yashiro"
Well isn't that just greAt
There's literally like 3 other empty spaces so Nene's best guess is that he placed him next to her due to her sudden uproar a couple of seconds ago
Amane nods before going over and sitting beside Nene and although he's not her ideal type she has to admit he does look pretty nice up close
Some hours pass by and next thing you know its lunchtime and once again everyone is crowded around Nene's desk but not her specifically
They were all much more into asking the mysterious transfer student Amane the most juiciest questions about his life
"Do you have a girlfriend?"
"Are you really a twin?"
"Why did you move schools to begin with?"
"Geez could you give the guy some space?!" The fiery blonde says barging through the crowd
"Kou Minamoto! Nice to meet you transfer student!" The boy grins
"He has a name you know!" Aoi says "Amane isn't it?"
He seems to be getting overwhelmed by the endless flood of questions but none the less he answers them all appropriately without disclosing TOO much information about himself
After that classes continue as usual until finally its the end up the day and everyone's free to go home.
Since Amane did just come to the school it was Nene's non-official job to show him around which also meant showing him how to leave the school.
"Hey, Yashiro do you walk home this way?" The black-haired boy asks as they reach the gate
"U-um I dunno?! I mean y-yes!"
Why is she stuttering so much all he asked was a simple question!
"Then let's walk home together!"
"B-but isn't you taking this way to your house the longer route?"
He nods "Yeah, but I don't mind walking a little longer if I'm talking to you. Tsukasa gets a little annoying after a while—" he sighs "I'd choose a radish over him any day!"
Rad...ish..?
"NOT YOU TOO AMANE!!" She practically sobs staring down at her giant ankles aka her BIGGEST insecurity.
"Stupid letter with your stupid prank!"
"Anyways I wish I could but uh...I've gotta feed my pet avocado!" She blurts out before sprinting off the school grounds in an instant.
"AMANEEE!!!" A boy almost identical to him squeals throwing himself onto his older brother
"Hey, Tsukasa..." He greets
"Who was that girl you were talking to? Is she your giiiirlfriend?~" He says grinning widely and the other twin shakes his head quickly
"N-no! She's just my classmate, mind your own business!" He huffs. The younger boy giggles before speaking again "Anyways you should hurry up so let's go!!" He whines
"Ok, Ok I'm coming!"

Once Nene figures she's ran far enough she lets out a sigh before dropping down onto the ground
"Maybe that wasn't exactly the best thing to do..."
Still, it was too late now Nene had already made her choice and Amane was already on his way home. I mean it was only this one time? She can just make up for it tomorrow! With determination, Nene rises from the ground and quickly makes her way home.
By now the radish legged girl had finished doing everything she needed to get done which means she absolutely exhausted so she lazily flops herself onto her bed already on the verge of falling asleep
"Tomorrow I'll...Tomorrow...I'll..."

"Geez, why is future me so bossy!!" She whines slipping on her shoes and heading out the door
"Bye Mom, bye Dad!!"
When Nene arrives at the school gats she spots Amane along with his twin brother though the older one seems to be acting a little...odd?
Nene can't exactly put her finger on it but somethings definitely off
Wait...
Was it because she didn't listen to the letter? Hopefully not...
"Hey, Amane!! Wait up!" Nene calls running up to the boy and almost immediately he seems to be back to "normal"
"Morning Yashiro! How are you?" He asks fidgeting with his fingers
"I'm doing go—"
"You must be Amane's girlfriend!!" Tsukasa giggles pointing at Nene
"HUH?!"
Nene's face heats up and she feels as if she's about to faint
"TSUKASA I TOLD YOU TO STOP SAYING THAT YOU'RE NOT FUNNY!" Amane yells before picking up his pace to get away from the boy and Nene follows after
Tsukasa would've chased after them but his new classmates manage to get a hold of him so he doesn't get the chance
Thank goodness...
"Sorry about that, he just likes to annoy me sometimes" He sighs and Nene shakes her head "N-no it's fine don't worry about it!!" She stammers
Plus even if Amane DID have a crush on her it didn't matter since he wasn't her type not to mention she already had her eyes set on the eldest Minamoto aka the most popular and handsome boy in school! Well at least in Nene's eyes—
"U-um Anyways we should be heading to class now," Amane says breaking the silence and the two of them head off
...
Classes have ended now and the black-haired boy is putting his stuff away in his bag while Nene does the same
"𝘍𝘪𝘹 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘺𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘥𝘢𝘺"
"Hey uh, Amane...?"
"Yeah, Yashiro?" He replies
"Why don't we walk home together today?" She suggests and suddenly Kou comes in between them "Why dont we all walk home together today? The whole groups free!"
"Sure why not!" Aoi smiles and Akane nods since he basically agrees to whatever Aoi says
"I didn't agree to anything- I have better things to do than spend time with you lot!" Mitsuba huffs
"Okay, then it's settled!" Kou grins
"I hate you"
Amane looks down at the ground in thought before back up at his apparently newfound group of friends and answers the original question.
"Sure, why not!"
