Yamaguchi wakes up and looks at his screen to see what day it was Saw it was thursday he he couldn't sleep well yesterday after he found out he had hanahaki. He gets up and goes to the bathroom only to find himself coughing again he looks at the sink. Ten... ten petals this time it's not as many as yesterday. He sighs and get in the shower then he changes and has breakfast. Then after that he hears his door ring he gets up to get it guessing it was Tsukishima outside waiting to walk together. " hi Tsuki" "hello Yamaguchi" ba-dump "ready?" "Yep let's go" as they start their walk Tsukishima puts on his headphones.
Then Yamaguchi feels it coming, oh no not now not now I hope tsuki can't hear me, he coughs in his had hoping there's no blood as he looks down it's only petals that he then slid them down his sleeve so when he put his hand Down the petals would fall on the ground so Tsukishima doesn't see them. What he didn't realize is that even though the other boy was listening to music he didn't have it all the way up so he heard him cough. "Are you okay?" Huh? He heard me? "Yea I'm fine! It's just a little cough" " okay take medicine once you get home okay?" "Okay don't worry!" He said smiling at the tall boy.
Tskuishima pov:
I put on my headphones and listen to music as we walk together and get the volume up but not to much so I can hear Yamaguchi if he talks, then I hear a small cough I look down at the smaller boy beside "are you okay" I ask "yea I'm fine! It's just a small cough" his smile is cute, wait what? What am I thinking?. "Okay take medicine when you get home" "okay don't worry!" I slightly smile as I hear his voice. And continue walking.
At school:
As they reached the school they walk together to class since both had the same subjects. They get through the day only one last class left they were all tired of learning stuff now after class was over, Yamaguchi looked Over at Tsukishima he looked and saw that he was sleeping and with his headphones in, it was 2: 51 just a few minutes left until school is over. He laid his head down and for a bit he watched him sleep peacefully.
He looks cute when he sleeps, he examines the little details on him and smiles to himself Then he looked at the time and saw that it was 2: 58 which he then got up and walked over to tsukishima and slowly woke him up " tsuki it's time to go to practice" the other then groaned as he slowly opened his eyes. " I'm up, I'm up" the other said, once he was fully awake they both headed to practice once they both reached the gym the others were already there. " HEY YAMAGUCHI HELLO TSUKI!" They saw a small boy say " hello Hinata!" "Don't call me that you shrimp" "Tsuki!!" Yamaguchi nudged tsukishimas side " what I'm only stating the truth" "Whatever let's go change and then practice".
After they changed both headed back to where the others were and they started practicing. "CHANCE BALL", "SHUT UP HINATA", and other words were heard as they practiced and kageyama and Hinata's arguing could also be heard mostly but it didn't suprise anyone anymore.
Then Yamaguchi started feeling sick to the stomach but he could already guess what it was. Then his nose started to bleed which Sugawara saw and asked "are you okay Yamaguchi your nose is bleeding" "it is?" He then felt with his hand then looked at it, " oh it's fine it's just a nose bleed don't worry" " are you shure? Dont you need to go to the nurse?" " n-no its fine really I'll just go to the bathroom" " okay then I'll call a ten minute break" " you don't rea-" GUYS LETS TAKE A TEN MINUTE BREAK" "no really take your time and go wash up in the bathroom" "okay thanks suga", " no problem" suga said with a bright smile.
Yamaguchi pov:
Oh no why is this happening now, he thought to himself as he ran to the bathroom, in the bathroom he then started coughing more then this morning, and more petals along with blood, why can't this stop!
Tears then welled up in his eyes as he cried he started to feel pain in his chest that he didn't felt before. Before he knew it he then coughed up a dahlia flower along with petals and blood. A dahlia flower? I never coughed up a full flower until now! Does this mean it's getting worse? Oh no.
as he finished he cleaned up his mess and flushed the dahlia and petals in the toilet so nobody found them and washed his face. He then sighed and left the bathroom and back into the gym. "Are you okay" suga asked as he approached Yamaguchi " yep all good!" "Really? You stayed in there for five minuets are you shure?" Did I really stay in there for five whole minutes, " yea I just got a little sick, nothing too bad" he lied he didn't want Suga to worry about him, he didn't want anyone to worry. "Okay just asking" "mhm!".
The rest of the time they started practicing again and after practice they all changed and Yamaguchi and Tsukishima walked home "how was your day Yamaguchi", "pretty good how about you?" "Went well, hey I been meaning to ask are you really shure your okay? I saw you go to the bathroom and didnt see you go out until after five minutes" ahh he noticed! " oh yea I'm good don't worry alright? I just felt a little sick is all" Yamaguchi knew that that was a lie too but he didn't want the tsukishima to worry". After the taller boy left him off at his house Yamaguchi went up stairs and went to his room and to the bathroom where then he started feeling sick again I'm not shure how long I can last this is getting worse, he looked at himself in the mirror with glossy eyes and started to cough again sigh 4 dahlia flowers and more petals this ain't good. He then went back into his room and laid under his covers tears started to fall again. He felt pain but not physically this time no, but emotionally. Could I really tell Tsuki how I feel about him? What if he doesn't feel the same? What if he gets disgusted by me for liking him?...
Even though both were friends Yamaguchi never told Tsuki his sexuality one reason because he was afraid. Full of what if's Yamaguchi then thought, ....what if...what if I end up dying?....
