At the hospital:
They had carried in Yamaguchi and took him to a room where he was then monitored by doctors and nurses. Tsukishima was told to wait in the waiting room for news about him. He had many thoughts in his head the main one being Yamaguchi. He wanted to go see him. He wanted to talk to him even though he was still unconscious.
Doctor- Mr. Tsukishima Kei?
Tsukishima- that's me did you find out anythying? How is he?
Doctor- well this might be hard to believe but it seems like your friend has... hanahaki and he is still unconscious for now, he has lost a lot of blood... seems he has been going through this for a while.
Tsukishima- Hanahaki? I thought that only happened in stories...
Doctor- yes well this actually happens and only to 9% of the population so it's rare and the surgery cost a lot also..
Doctor- since you seem close to him I think I should tell you that... his possibility of dying is high, without a confession from the person he likes or without surgery that is.. but we can not perform surgery without permission from a parent...
the flowers growing in his lungs are almost preventing him from breathing properly which is a risk to him ... if the person he likes confesses to him, the flowers will stop growing and deminish until they are fully gone.. but the aftermath is him being in a comma as he recovers from it..
Tsukishima was shocked not knowing how to respond.
Tsukishima- uhm can... can I see him?
Doctor- yes just sign this paper and his room is 298

Tsukishima was devastated I mean who wouldn't be? Your best friend is in a hospital with a rare disease is unconscious and with a possibility of dying.. he went to the room number and went inside. And saw all the tubes that were connected to him which made Tsukishima hurt because he didn't like seeing him like this. He sat beside him and held his hand. (it was already been 3 hours since he went unconscious and was taken to the hospital and it was now 1:30 am.) as he held yamaguchis hand he stayed there watching him. He then moved his soft hair from his eyes so he could see him better. There's eye bags under his eyes.. how long did he hide this pain?. As he was lost in thoughts a doctor suddenly came in startling him..
doctor- I'm sorry but I'm going to have to ask you to leave visiting hours are over..
Tsukishima- could a be with him for a little longer?
Doctor- I'm sorry..
Tsukishima- ...
He looked at Yamaguchi one last time before he left
Tsukishima- okay... please take good care of him....
The doctor then assured him and said he was in good hands. So then Tsukishima went home as he got home he went to his room and sat on his chair beside the window. It was slightly raining out side so the quietness and the sounds of the rain made tsukishima calm a little.
Tsukishima couldn't believe what happened today. He felt slightly guilty for not telling Yamaguchi his feelings sooner but he was afraid to do so and afraid of ruining his friendship. So he never did and only liked him from afar. He looked up at the sky and tried to process everything that happened. That's when he heard a ding from his phone. It was Hinata

Tsukishima then went on the group chat that the teammates had made. He was nervous to tell them but he had to because he knew they were worried about Yamaguchi too.

Tsukishima put his phone down and took a warm shower to calm his nerves a bit after he took a shower he laid in bed and stared at the ceiling. Thinking... and soon falls asleep because of tiredness and he wanted to wake up early to go visit Yamaguchi.
His mom was still on a business trip until Tsukishima called her and told her what happened. He talked to her a while ago and now she was already coming back because of what happened.
It was now only a waiting game of Patience to Tsukishima him waiting for news, and hoping for the best...
