"Good morning sunshine." Someone said, as I slowly opened my eyes.
I looked up into Trevor's brown eyes and smiled. "Hi."
"I'm assuming you slept well since you've been asleep for almost 13 hours."
"Mhmm," I answered, stretching my arms above my head. "Wait a minute...13 hours?"
He smirked at me. "Yeah, is that a problem?"
"Yes, that's a problem! Trevor I spent the night here and I didn't tell my mom. Do you realize how that looks? She's never going to let me out again!" I started to get out of his bed but he pushed me back down.
"Calm down Andy," He said. "I called your mom after you fell asleep last night and told her that you were sleeping. She said to just keep you here and bring you back in the morning."
I sunk back on to the bed and let out a breath. "She said that?"
He nodded.
"Well she must really trust you."
"Or maybe she trusts you." He grinned.
I shook my head. "I know she trusts me. I'm her good child. There has to be something about you that she really likes or she wouldn't have let this happen. It took her six months just to let me shut my bedroom door when Kenny came over so that alone should tell you something."
"Six months to shut a bedroom door but you get to spend the night with me after two weeks...I like those numbers."
I rolled my eyes. "You do realize there's no competition here right?"
"Oh there's competition for sure. That guy is going to try to make me look bad from every angle. I'm telling you Andy, I've seen the way he looks at you and it's way more than friendly."
"Even if that's true he's kind of missed his chance."
"Yeah he did," he said as he bent down and kissed me. "Now lets go find something to eat, because I'm starving and you probably are too."
Now that he mentioned it I am pretty hungry. Last time I ate was when we got back from the lake. I smiled at the thought. Last night was amazing. Trevor took me down to the pool and we played around in there until his brothers found us. I was actually ok that they joined though. I had fun. Even Mark was tolerable once he started to loosen up a little.
"Ok, what do you want?" Trevor asked, opening up the fridge. "We have pretty much anything."
"I want Belgium waffles with bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage, gravy, and biscuits." I told him, hopping up on to the counter.
He looked over at me and raised an eye brow. "I can't tell if you're being serious or just a smart ass."
"A little of both." I shrugged.
"Well how about regular waffles and bacon?"
I sighed. "I guess that will do."
He laughed and pulled the toaster out of the cabinet. "It's a good thing you aren't picky. I dated a girl once that ate things that were only gluten free. Not because she had to, but because she wanted to. It was a choice. Do you know how hard it is to make sure everything you buy or make for someone is gluten free? I don't even know what the hell gluten is!"
I laughed. "Sounds terrible."
"It was," he said, popping the waffles in the toaster. "But I don't have to worry about that now. At least I hope I don't."
I shook my head. "I'm all for gluten...whatever that means."
He reached down and grabbed a pan from the cabinet and continued to get things ready. I would have offered to help but there's not much for me to so I just sat and watched. He definitely knew what he was doing though, even if he was just frying bacon. There was just something about the way he moved around the kitchen that showed he enjoyed being there.
