Hello everyone, I apologize for the delay and staggering of each release of chapters. i have periods of mental block and only wish to put out chapters i feel comfortable and confident with. in the time i took a break i have read some books and will continue, i hope gathering more knowledge about literature can help me gain a better skill set for writing :D enjoy everyone

i woke up the next morning, yawning from the long Friday that had just occurred. I scratched my chin to feel stubble I should probably shave.

I turned to my right to see Levi was nowhere to be seen, "Levi?"

I panned my head around the room, bits of last nights dream flickering through my head as I got up and began looking for the boy.

I was in a grand medieval style castle with grandeur architecture and pastel walls. There were large silk velvet drapes that flowed onto the floor like hair. The naturalness and light showing through the window was emanating with vibrant bursts of bliss.

"Good morning my liege, would you like anything to drink?"

I was back in reality, walking up the stairs to the kitchen, "hello Joey!"
my mom was ecstatic.

"uh hi mom-" i was glancing around the kitchen frantically, "have you seen-"

she cut me off, "Levi? poor kid, just left. we talked this morning and he felt comfortable telling me small bits and bobs of his situation, i let him know he's welcome... I hope you have too?"

"Yeah of course! We're hanging out later, i didn't know he was leaving so early..." i trailed off back into my dream.

I shook my head at the man who addressed me. I was dazed, euphoric loops of confusion whirling through me.
I had rested my hands on the window sill nearest, my large hands clunking on the oak from chunky rings i was wearing.

Each ring felt beautiful and priceless, "is the man of the kingdom ready for his marriage?" WHAT.

"Yes," was all i mustered.

Back to reality.

I went back down stairs and cleaned my room, then I decided to FaceTime Levi.

It took him a bit but he finally answered.

"HI JOEY!" Isa? OH I FORGOT

"Isa!! How are you?"

"Woah keep it in ur pants I saw you yesterday," I heard laughs in the background.

"Levi with you?"

"Yeah, here," they passed the phone to Levi.

"Dude!! What the hell,"He stepped out of Isa's room into the bathroom neighboring it.

"I'm sorry! I couldn't sleep so I came up stairs and chatted with your mom,"

"Yeah I heard, she loves you, wants me to keep bugging you that you're always welcome here or something like that? But that's besides the point, did you tell Isa?"

"No not yet," I tilted my head as I grabbed my razor and began putting shaving cream on my face and neck.

I saw him sit down on the toilet, staring at me, "Oh really?"

"Yeah I'm just nervous, I mean I know they're non-binary and queer but it's still scary,"

"Do you want me to tell them?"

"No I got this, wait I just realized you haven't told your parents?"

"They're gone for the weekend, they leave in like two hours so I have the whole house,"

"Oh ok..." He trailed off and began to fall into a melancholy gaze as he stared at me.

I looked over to him and smiled then finally eased my face and razor.

"Ok well I hope everything goes well, text me how it goes?" He nodded, "cool I'll pick you up around seven,"

"Ok bye Joey," he was blushing, this boy...

I had spent the next couple hours calling dipper and getting his advice on what to wear, I also picked up some flowers and dipper suggested I tidy up my room for after the 'date', oh who was I kidding it was a date, for sure.

You:
Oh yeah?
How'd it go?

Levi:
AMAZING!!!
THEY'RE THE BEST

You:
Haha yeah, I'm glad
Ok I gotta get ready but I'll call you when I get there, cool?

Levi:
Yup

I'm so glad he's ok.

I set my phone down and buttoned up my shirt, I threw a tie around my neck and out on a suit jacket, then grabbed my keys, the flowers, my romance skills, and darted.
