New Friends

It was Monday morning, and I woke up to my alarm. I quickly turned it off and got up. I got ready for school, and let Lily out before I left. When she came back in, I met June at the front door and she drove us to school.

~TIME SKIP TO LUNCH~

As I was eating lunch with June, Summer came and sat down at our table. "Hi Summer!" "Hey y/n!" "Summer, this is my sister June. June, this is Summer. She's in my chemistry class." "Nice to meet you." June said. "Nice to meet you too." June ate and played on her phone, while me and Summer talked about our chemistry class. "Hey, could I have your number? We're probably doing notes today and I'm really slow." She asked me. "Sure." I gave her my number and texted her to make sure it was the right number. The bell rang, and we went to our classes.

~TIME SKIP TO LAST CLASS~

As we walked into class, Mrs. Smith put notes on the projector for us to copy. I saw Noah next to me struggling to write them down fast enough. When class ended, I saw his notes and couldn't even read them. His handwriting was sloppy from writing so fast. "Hey, do you need to copy my notes?" I asked, while we were packing up our stuff and everyone left. "Yeah, thank you. If you're coming over today, I can copy them then." He said, us walking out of the classroom with the hallway empty. "Okay, I'll come over." We went outside, and I saw June waiting for me in her car. "Bye." I said, getting in the car. "Bye."

I was in the car, and got a text from Summer.

I'm in the car rn

but I'll send them when I get home

We pulled into the driveway and I got out of the car. June opened the front door for me, since I wasn't paying attention. I was holding my phone texting Noah and Summer at the same time.

Noah

hey

r u coming over today?

Me

yeah

I just need to send my notes to someone

"Thank you." I said to June, as I started walking up the stairs. I got into my room and put my backpack on my bed. I took out my notebook and sent Summer a picture of the notes we did.

I put my notes back into my backpack and walked to Noah's house. I knocked on his door and Chloe let me in. "Hey Chloe!" "Hey y/n! Noah's upstairs in his room." I walked up the stairs and to his room. The door was open. He was sitting on the bed playing on his phone. "Hey." I said. He quickly looked up like I scared him. "Hi." "You okay?" I asked. "Yeah, you just scared me." He replied. I smiled and put my backpack by his desk and sat down. Karine walked in and said, "Me and Chloe are going to the store. Do you want anything?" Noah shook his head and they both looked at me. "I'm okay." I said. "You two are going to be home alone so y/n, keep and eye on him." I giggled and Noah said "Hey!" 

Me and Noah studied and started playing uno on the floor after. "Uno." I said, putting a card down. Noah put a wild card down, but he changed it to blue, which is the card I had. I smiled and put my last card down onto the pile. "Seriously?!" He said, throwing his cards down on the carpet after I won for the 10th time. "How are you so good at this?" He asked me. I giggled and said, "I've been playing it since I was little, so I know all the tricks." I replied. "Teach me right now." "No, if I did you would actually be good at it and I couldn't win." I said jokingly. 

We heard the front door open and Chloe and Karine walk inside. Me and Noah walked downstairs to see them. "Hey guys, what did you do while we were gone?" Karine asked us, putting bags of groceries on the kitchen counter. "Studied, and then played uno." Noah replied. "How many times did she beat you?" Chloe asked. "...10." Chloe burst out laughing. "He's always been bad at it." She tells me. "How many times did he win?" She asks me. "Um, not much." She looked at Noah and he said "0..." quietly while he looked down. Chloe started laughing again. "She's good at it!" Noah says, trying to defend himself.
