AIAHAH - Chapter 5

Shehnaaz father POV :

I have a fine job and a happy family . Having a supportive wife , beautiful daughters and a son this was my world fulfilling their needs , wishes had become my priority .

Kids they grow up fast . It feels like yesterday I just entered my fatherhood taking her small form in my hands my baby for the first time and today I'm getting proposal for my daughter . Time it never waits for anyone , as its very hard to give our daughter to soneone letting her go to some other house as someone's wife's , daughter-in-law . Daughters they are very precious my gems .

When I came back from my work I was lost in thinking about the proposal or I can say a wish my friends mother had . Yes my friend Raj Varma ( Sidharth father ) shared his wish wanting my daughter for his son and it's his mother wish to see them tied in a forever bond together . I know them from many years we are neighbors and I know their son " Sidharth " I had meet him he is humble , good young man no doubt but he had not settled in his life , he some times goes to his dad's office however in future it's belongs to him yet he was trying his luck in the acting field .

When I discussed it with my wife she said " It's a very good proposal our daughter got , as she don't have to go far away from us . She will be infront of our eyes . And now- a-days we can't trust anybody . We are seeing him * Sidharth * from his childhood and we knows his family from many years . Our shehnaaz will be happy their " She said and I nodded agreeing with her . As in the society their are many cases of domestic voilence , frauds . Thinking all the way atlast we had agreed and wanted to know shehnaaz opinion on this .

As she was an obident child most sorted and mature one among the 3 . She simply agreed to us saying " she believes us " .

As they fixed their marriage date after 2 weeks . After lots of discussion and convencing their parents agreed to them that they didn't want to disclose their relationship to all and the marriage should be done in a very simple way i.e court marriage .

" Kya court marriage ? " Sidharth and shehnaaz father both asked shockingly .

And Shehnaaz and Sidharth both nodded at them .

" what are saying Sidharth , Your my only son I want to do every ceremony in a grand way " Raj said .

" Yes I want my daughter wedding to be an grand event it's your special day how can you think that we will agree for the court marriage ? " Santosh said not believing what their childern had decided .

Not believing his daughter n soon to be son-in-law has taken a decision which is very shocking firstly bit disclose getting married in close affairs and now court marriage . Elders argued with their decision but at the end they agreed for their happiness .

" Shehnaaz Thank you so much for understanding me " he said as soon as he reached his room laying on the bed as he called her .

" Sidharth don't start it now " she said a bit annoyed because of his constant thanking . He chuckled and said " okay forget about that , I was thinking to go shopping tomorrow would you like to join " he asked her hopping her to say yes . As he wanted to spend time with her and atleast to shop for her for their wedding .

" Sidharth " she said not knowing what to respond him .

" Should I talk to your father ? " he asked but she said " No no don't I will talk to him " .

" I will wait for you " he said , after talking a while they ended the call .

Next day , shehnaaz father " Beta dyaan rakna " said to Sidharth as he came to drop her they were in the parking near their car . Sidharth nodded his head with an assuring smile saying " don't worry uncle she is my responsibility " .

Sidharth wanted her to sit beside him as he was going to drive but what friends are for . They wanted to tease him so kaushal took passenger seat saying " chalo bhai late ho raha hai " shehnaaz settled beside Disha and Mahi , jay and vikas at back .

( Let's go brother , it's getting late )

Sidharth was glaring at his friends making them smrink . Sighing in defeat , he started the engine looking at her in rare view mirror . Both along with their friends went for shopping . Sidharth had selected her dress and Shehnaaz selected for him . They had lots of fun , their eye locks , teasing , leg pulling they returned back to home having their dinner out at the dhabha .

Today their marriage day . The two weeks went in a blink . Sidharth father had taken an separate apartment for them in Mumbai . As Sidharth was going their to pursue his dreams .

At Registry office , the lawyer was ready with all the documents . Sidharth and shehnaaz family reached the office . Sidharth took a ring 💍 from his pocket taking her hands in his he made her wear saying " It's an promise that I'm yours and never gonna leave you " he said . Signing the documents , both exchanged the garlands . He ties the knot around her neck . Their parents signed on witness and clicked their pics together . They are married .
