Soldier's Love - 2

Shehnaaz POV

My heart breaks when he didn't said a word before leaving I understand his work , his passion , responsibility and love towards his duty but deep down in my heart I had an hope a little hope that he will be my side in this new journey , stay back for me is it too much to expect from him from my life partner ? Isn't it's his duty too ? Am I not his responsibility ? but this expectations only makes people hurt .

So don't expect don't get hurt .

I still remember how I first time talked to him on call then first time going out with him for lunch both were surprise to me his unexpected call , unexpected visit to my school at lunch time .

Flashback

I was sitting in my room suddenly I got a call from an unknown number . I stared at the number trying to recall if by any of my friends or cousins but it has ended the call . But again it started ringing this time I picked up the call waited for other person to speak . Yes I will never talk first untill I hear who is on other side . Their come a manly voice saying " Hello "

" yes " I replied

" ummm Shehnaaz "  he said , sounded nervous . I was shocked how he knows my name ? who is he ? How he got my number ? Questions were running in my mind .

" Are you their " he said again making me come back from my thoughts .

" Yes . Who are you ? Do I know you ? How did you got my number ? What's your name ? " I asked all the questions in one go . My mouth zipped next second when he said his name .

" Sidharth " he said I gasped and frozed on my place .

" I wanted to talk to you " He said again making me blink my eye I can't believe he called me and wanted to talk with me . I looked at the phone again and again why I don't know too .

" Hello are you their ? " He said again because I was not responding to him .

"Yes ... yes " I replied controlling my heart beat which was running like usian bolt trying my leavel best not to stammer infront of him .

But he cuts my call saying " I will call you back later " . I cursed myself thinking may be he is upset that i didn't replied quickly to him .

Next day I was in school , it was lunch break when peon called me saying someone came for me . Me ? But who ? I went and saw Sidharth was standing near his Royal Enfield looking super hot and cool in his demins jeans and white shirt . I was shocked to see him , he came for me ?

Now We are now sitting in the restaurant . I was playing with my fingers in nervousness . He wanted to talk that day I waited for his call but in return I got a message from him saying " Sorry I was busy with some work " . As he got important call from his authorities . Seeing the message my blood boiled , here I was cursing myself thinking I made him upset but here the scene is totally different . Can't he call me again when he is free , Ofcourse he must be not talking to his authorities for hours . So I ignored his message and didn't replied showing my anger .

And now I'm sitting with him in a restaurant . My disappointment , anger everything went away seeing him infront of me . What to do with this teenage crush jitters .

He asked me to order our lunch . I looked at him and said " whatever you like , you order it " . It's first time I'm meeting him directly and that too with my hungry stomach . He looked at me and said " plzz feel free and order as per your wish " he said again .

" I'm not going to judge you " giving me the look

I looked at the menu n I placed my order he smiled I will get lost in his smile . I think I'm getting week on my knees just with his smile . Their was again the awkward silence between us . He took glass of water gluped it and tried to start conversation .

" Shehnaaz " he said the way he takes my name making my body passess through jilters .

" Are you happy with this alliance shehnaaz " he said making me come back from my dream land . I was shocked listening to him . Then seeing my shocked expression he said " you are not forced right ? " . I shook my head negatively then he asked again " You are happy I mean okay right with me " he was fumbling with his words . I understand his dilema he just wanted to know and confirm by himself that I was happy with this alliance or not . And I thanked God in my mind sending this precious soul in my life . He is just perfect ,

I simply nodded my head in positively he smiled broadly relaxing a bit . " I want words darling " he said I gasped hearing Darling from him . Looking down I said " yes ..  I'm happy " . He took my hands in his I flinched at the sudden touch . No I wasn't uncomfortable but its first time I'm experiencing and didn't expected he would do something like this my cheeks turned red slowly his thumb started to caress my hand making me relax under his touch .

" Our elders are going to fix the date of our marriage today " he said and I nodded again not looking at him I'm feeling shy . After that We talked randomly getting to know eachother more after finishing the lunch he dropped me back to my school . He made me feel comfortable with him , the awkwardness was gone totally .

My lips curled into a smile remembering it . Before marriage , he made so many efforts to make me comfortable with him . I always noticed him he is man of few words but his actions speaks volume , his care , he is a very protective and possessive man .
