The next day, things finally seemed to be progressing a little.

TIA HQ called to inform us that Interpol had found leads related to the drug dealers using their own investigative tools. They said we'd receive all the information within a few minutes.

True to their word, they sent various documents to each of our TIA phones along with grainy snaps of three men, probably captured by surveillance cameras.

One man was sporting a beanie and seen entering a bar, and in another picture, two different men were seen talking with each other in a narrow alley.

"These three men were spotted by Interpol in Paris, near Bon Appétit, and also in London, and they were seen exchanging suspicious packages with each other." Miranda murmured, eyes fixated on her phone.

It seemed a bit of a stretch to assume these men were related to our case, but still, they were the best shot we had at the moment.

We opened the documents to see various records of the exact date, time, and place where the pictures were taken, along with the identities of the three men.

"Rob Kirk, Vasily Asimov, and Luke Podolski," I read out from the documents. "Probably these are all fake names, but these are the ids the men go by."

Soler nodded, and then lifted his eyes to look at us. "So we go check these out right? That means back to London?"

All three of the men had been currently spotted in London. So that meant we had to return to the city to try and find them.

Miranda nodded. "Yeah. Back to London."

We landed at Heathrow the following morning, and were taken straight to the safe house we'd stayed in previously.

After unpacking and freshening up a little, I tied my dark hair into a ponytail and glanced for a moment into the mirror. My hazel eyes appeared dull and sunken, with circles running underneath them.

No doubt that was the result of staying up multiple nights to work on this goddamn case.

I rubbed my eyes a little and blinked a few times. There was no time to linger over these little things. I tugged on a small backpack which contained some energy bars, water, money and a few other essentials. Like a knife, a rope, duct tape and spare bullets.

After fastening my gun to my shoulder holster, I pulled on a jacket to hide it from view and walked downstairs.

Soler was already ready by the time I reached the living room. He was arranging his taser, knives and guns.

There were a lot of them.

He looked up when I entered. "Hey."

I nodded and sat down on the couch, waiting for Miranda.

A minute later she appeared, ready to go. "Come on, agents. Everyone has their weapons, money and water?"

We nodded, and then all three of us set out. It was going to be a long day.

When the car stopped at the London Bridge tube station, we got out and looked around us.

"Asimov and Kirk were spotted in an alley near Borough Market," Miranda remarked, looking at her phone. "Come on."
