Chapter 33

9 months later

Preston

" Be ready " I say and as soon as we hear the bomb go off , we run towards the building. Inspite of wearing protective glasses , my eyes still water . I find my way through the fog and we get inside the dilapidated building. It looked shabby from the outside but is quite nice and furnished from the inside. My men move towards the rooms and I go to find my Alicia.

It takes me a while to find the room that she has been kept in. I expect some complicated lock but there's just a keypad . I unlock the door after 2 tries . The room is dark . I keep the door open for the light and find Alicia.

But I freeze when my gaze falls on her. She is screaming in pain but that doesn't surprise me . What really surprises me is her bulging stomach. The blood between her thighs. I quickly alert the paramedics and go towards her. It takes her a while to see me .

" Preston?"

" Yes , it's me Alicia "

" Preston, he..he took her . He took her " she cries .

" Please find my daughter . Please find her " she says and I nod shushing her .

The paramedics arrive shortly . I had everything ready. I knew Alicia wouldn't be in a good condition but I didn't expect her to be pregnant. Her skin was clammy due to just giving birth.

He looked at the flowing blood between her legs and felt scared. But most of all he wondered where the little baby was. If she was alright. He knew he had to find her.

But a part of him didn't want to because she wasn't his.

He met his men outside the building but he saw no sign of the kidnapper. He wasn't sure if the kidnapper was indeed Demelio. He wanted to scream. Finding Alicia had taken them over a year and he had fully expected to find Demelio or whoever the kidnapper was.

He had prepared well enough to torture the fuck out of him but he slipped yet again.

He tried to calm himself and followed the ambulance to his hospital. The doctors had stopped her bleeding and she was in a good condition for now. He feared the most for her child.

Preston waited with Alicia in the hospital. She was fighting the nurses , refusing to take her injections . Even though she was in so much pain she did not want to take anything to numb her pain in the fear that she would go unconscious.

" Pres.. Preston.. you have to find her . Please ! I want to see her. " She sobbed

" He..he didn't even let me hold her . He snatched her from me . He will kill her . Please bring her back .. I want my daughter back " she cried

" Shh! I promise I'll get her back okay? I will make sure he pays for this "

Preston kept searching every possible places where Demelio could go. Preston already had Demelio's most trusted men in the basement getting tortured. It wasn't really difficult to find his safehouse.

But he knew Demelio wouldn't go to any of the places. But again, Preston quickly found out where Demelio was.
