Gia Martin, doesn't deserve anything that has happened to her for all these years. She was a warm-hearted, affectionate girl who does anything to make her loved ones happy. She got it after her mother, who was filled with positivity and happiness.

Gia couldn't remember a single time when her mother was sad or depressed. Gia's mother Isabell always had a constant smile that never left her face. Her father, Warner was a kind and humble man who loved her daughter more than anything else in the world.

Gia loved the times she spent with her parents. She enjoyed playing with her mom and dad.
She always wanted a happy and comfortable life. But fate had decided something else for her, right when she was 10 years old.

One fine morning, Gia Martin was informed by her grandfather that her mom and dad was dead and they would no longer return home. Gia's parents were on a trip to Florida via sea route . The storm engulfed the tiny ship which caused the shipwreck. The ten old girl could understand the terms but couldn't control her emotions. She was devastated by the loss of her parents. She had no one to look after her other than his 80 year old grandfather.

After two years, she lost his grandfather. Her life was tragic, she didn't expect any of this to happen. She was left alone and she had no one to look after her. That's when Mrs. Olivia Campbell and Mr. Arthur Campbell,  gia's neighbours decided to adopt her by taking her and giving her a home. Gia was also not ready to end up in a orphanage. So she accepted their offer.

Arthur and Olivia had a six year old girl named Amanda, Amanda Campbell.
Things were pretty good for Gia at the start of her new life with her step parents. But as days flew by, they started treating her like shit. Amanda never gelled up with Gia. Arthur lost all his money in gambling and the family suffered from debts. Olivia started drinking in stress and Amanda hated Gia with a thought that Gia was responsible for her family falling apart.

Gia didn't have the privilege to eat good food nor wear fancy dresses. She never demanded things, she never wished to have anything because she knew her wishes can't be fulfilled. She managed to struggle alone, bearing with the treatment she got from the Campbell family. She can't go anywhere because she had nothing for herself. Gia's parents left her with nothing, because once her parents died their bank accounts were froze, informing that Gia gets access to it only when she turns 18.
They didn't have a heavy bank balance indeed.

Gia knew that the only person who could save her was Gia herself. She passed out of high school with good marks along with a full term scholarship. Olivia made it very clear that she is not gonna give any money for Gia's higher studies. Gia didn't tell her about the scholarship because that won't end well. Gia joined a film school away from her hometown, she flied countries away from her step mom and step dad. She never wanted them near her.

But they made it every clear that Gia has to send some money for them every single month and Gia didn't deny it, as she was grateful to them for letting her stay in their house and paid her school bills when she had no one to look after her. She thought she should somehow pay them back. Though they ill- treated her, never considered her as a family member, neglected her presence, she was kind towards them for giving her this life.
