Arlo's POV

Lillian's eyes widened in shock, on looking at Brett for the first time in all these months. She was quivering with anger and I can see that clearly.

"Who brought him here?", she snapped as she didn't even spare a glance at Brett who was standing in the middle of the room. I knew that I did the right thing to Lillian and bear. He deserved to know about bear.

"Hey....Lilli...I'm sor....", he began but Lillian raised her hand gesturing him to stop.

"What the hell are you doing here! Can't you let me enjoy my perfect moments peacefully, atleast regardless the fact that you ruin my happiness every single time", she growled while Brett listened to her patiently. He understood that she had every right to be angry on him.

"Look, I have nothing to do with you and so does my baby. I never want you around us both. So please leave", she grunted angrily.

Lillian's mother moved towards her, trying to calm her down. Gia was standing beside Nicolas, she looked startled. If I'm not wrong, I noticed her shaking Nicolas's hands excitedly, at the exact time when I entered the room with Brett. Even in the room full of people, my eyes search only for hers.

I was a bit irritated witnessing that, I can never stand to the sight of someone else touching her and she has no idea what Nicolas intentions were. And I'm not gonna tell her anything about it and spoil his reputation. He was good man indeed but when it comes to my girl, I  can't spare anyone.

"But, Lilli....just give me a chance please. I'll explain everything....", he pleaded with teary eyes, but she wasn't moved. She was furious and ignored looking at him.

"Hey, dear. Maybe you should listen to him before you decide anything", suggested Lillian's mother, Helen. She crossed her hands over her chest and raised her brows.

"Why do I have to do that? He has moved on mom, while I still....", she trailed off. I knew that she has always loved him and will continue to love him no matter what. Her anger was holding her back and the news that she saw earlier has aggravated her fury enough.

"Yes, I love you too and only you forever", he confessed, making two steps forward.

"Just don't do this. You can't do this to your girlfriend!! Oh I'm sorry, it's your fiancée", she smirked and her sarcasm hurt him really bad.

"No, nothing like that. It was rumor or you can call it anything. The only person I love is you, Lillian and I can never stop loving you", he gushed while she scoffed.

"I had listened to these lies, a numerous times mom and I'm not falling for it this time", she hissed. Celine and Cecilia pitied Brett as tears pour of his ocean blue eyes.

"Hey, what you saw yesterday wasn't true at all and I will never cheat on you like that. I can explain if you let me to", he requested for a change. My mother had no idea what to do or what to say.

"Guys, you know what, you can discuss it in private!! I think this is not something to do here", Gia spoke out while everyone remained quiet.

"Lilli, I think you need to hear him out and he deserves a chance. Remember that he is the father of your child and he has every single right towards bear. So Lilli, do it for bear's sake", stated Gia and Lillian gave it a thought.
