"This is me.. and that was my past", I say leaning against the couch covering her petite body with my right hand pulling her close to me.

"Hmm...mmm", she hummed and it was not the kind of response I wanted. I wanted her to say something, anything or she could just scold me for what I was, but she remained silent fidgeting her fingers.

"Say something chiquita", I urge her to say something and she crane her neck up to look at me.

"See, even the most trusted person could lie, even the best friend could change, even the sweetest person could cheat, even the stronger friendship could ruin, even the person you love the most could be gone....

It know it's sad to think, hard to accept but this is reality", she stated with a frown.

"Why do you have to hate her so much?", Gia questioned me with a frown. My eyes widened in shock, it was like she was taking sides with Emily.

"You have to be kidding me", I say as a smirk takes over.

"Just because she left you out of the blue moon, that doesn't mean you have to blame her for what you did to yourself", she implied and I wonder what gotten into her suddenly.

"Can't you see....... for all that we have been through together.... don't I deserve an explanation from her before leaving at least?", I grunt at her while she remained silent.

"Whatever the reason was, she shouldn't have left me. And I'm not holding grudges anymore, I'm remembering facts for God's shake", I declare with a frown.

"What if she left you behind only for you", she mumbled.

"What? I don't get you", I wonder what she was trying to confess.

"This all makes sense to me", she said in a raspy tone.

"Huh.??", I run my hand through my hair in frustration as I don't get it.

"What if someone close to you would have threatened her to leave you forever.?", she questioned me and my eyes snap to meet hers.

"What if she left you for what you have become today?! You are one of the most popular celebrity in DC and people are worshipping you for your music! What if she left you for only this to happen", stated Gia and slightly nod at her.

"How are you so sure about this?!", I question her as she sounded so confident about her words.

"Because I know what really happened the day before she left town", she spoke and I really don't know what was speaking about.

"The day before she left, your dad Benjamin Scott asked her to meet him. He never really liked your relationship with Emily, he thought maybe some day you guys would drift apart but when you daringly said to him that you wanted to move in with Emily and start a business in France, that made him wild and furious.

Benjamin warned your mother to stop you by herself and he ensured her that he would do anything to make you stay here. But your mother always supported you and your life decisions no matter what", she signed and my head began swirling on hearing her say things that happened years ago.
