Chapter-2 MASTERMIND

The person who was not happy at the end of the party was Emma and the reason was she was getting jealous of Lexi's and Ron's friendship. And right at the minute she left without telling anyone. George noticed that but he was not getting the point of her disappointment so he told Lexi about it as she is smart in handling sensitive matters. There were a lot of things going into Emma's mind. She wanted to replace Lexi's position with her and wanted to make the same bond with Ron. Emma started doing planning as she was a mastermind. And then finally she planned to make Ron at her side and showing a bad image of Lexi in front of Ron. 

Then to the very next day she started filling wrong things into Ron's mind about Lexi. She started saying Ron that Lexi is betraying her by distracting him from his work and making herself at high perch. But of course Ron didn't believed that. Emma got failed in her first plan but she was not  going to give up. She planned more and more. This time her plans were strong enough to make gap in between Ron and Lexi. Her next move was very sharp- witted.

The clients who were in Ron's list Emma shifted them into Lexi's list so that Emma can show that Lexi is betraying him which was totally a made up story. The very next morning when everyone went to work they were doing their work and Lexi was overloaded with clients because of Emma's planning. But Ron was unengaged. He was surprised with it as yesterday his list was filled with names and then he got more goggle-eyed when he saw his clients in Lexi's cabin. And then Emma enters in Ron's cabin to make the situation more spiced up. She started talking that I told you Lexi is betraying you but you were not interested to believe me and now see. And even Ron got on a short fuse. At that moment he was not in a state of mind to talk to Lexi about this.

This was not enough for Emma and she planned something more which was at the top. She called Lexi and told her that it is an off tomorrow from work she just got a message from Mr. Robert and asked Lexi to convey the message to Ron as she is little busy. Lexi did the same. The next morning  Emma called Ron to ask when is he coming to work. Ron replied that yesterday Lexi told him its an off today from work. Emma said again that can you see Lexi wanted you to take an off  and making you let down in Mr. Robert's eyes and she herself is here in the office. Everything was going according to Emma's plan.

Ron talked to Lexi the same night about everything about whatever was going on since the last two days. Lexi explained that she does not know about the clients issue as whatever list she got she did according to that and also said that if something happened like that he would have talked to her right at the moment she would have shared the clients.

Ron accepted that situation. Then he raised the topic about the off from work and herself going to work. Lexi stated "Emma told her about the off from the work and she asked me to convey the same to you. Early morning I received a call from Mr. Robert to immediately come to office and I called you a lot of times to tell you to come to work but your phone was switched off. What Emma said I told you. I hope you trust me." Ron replied "Lexi please don't lie this can not be possible. I know that what you want, you want me to be distracted from work and make yourself at the top" and hung up the call.

Lexi understood everything. She got cleared with everything. She understood that its Emma behind this. She asked Emma to catch her in the next evening in the cafeteria. She met Emma very pleasantly and then started with the actual conversation. Lexi started with "Emma why are you being green with envy? Why are you bridging gaps in Ron and me and even you and me. Please don't do this it can get ugly." Then Emma replied "Well if you are known to everything let me be real with you. So what I want is I want to be like two peas in a pod like you both are ohhh I am sorry like you both were. So for this I am doing all this mess. So that is the reason I am taking Ron away from you and keeping him at my side and well I am also jealous of the position you have gained  in the office .So soon I am also going to do something for that so there is a disclaimer just wait and watch." Lexi replied  in an elegant style "It is okay dear, never mind,  just I want to say is tearing somebody down will never elevate you. So take care and bye."

Lexi got all alone and she needed a shoulder so that she spit everything out. For that she called George and told him everything. Then George replied that you are right even he has seen jealousy in Emma's eyes. He also advised Lexi to stay away from Emma and Ron for a few days so that Emma becomes helpless and she could not do anything and she focus on her work and also to just brush off everything. Lexi also liked his plan but she was in a little doubt that is George is trustful or not or he is at Emma's side. But still she engaged with that plan.

But of course Emma she was not in anyone's hand. Soon she was going to do something to make Lexi menial in front of Mr. Robert's eyes. Emma talked to Ron and told him to take revenge and teach her a lesson of her wrong doing. On the other side Lexi wanted to talk to Ron as she was in habit of talking to him. Lexi passed her few days without Ron and even at work she tried to make less contact with Ron and even with Emma. She was out of her control but still insisted herself to wait a little more till then everything gets back to normal. But life is like a cloud it keeps moving and never reverse itself. This same happened in Lexi's life. The next thing happened in her life was totally out of her depth. She regretted a lot that might she would have.....
