chapter 7 FATE

This time it was not a normal depression Lexi couldn't sleep because she felt bombarded with negative thoughts. Her parents started worrying a lot. This time too they had to plan something different which could actually make her feel at least a little better.

Lexi was now very rich financially but not mentally. Her styling was now posh and swanky. She used to spend good amount on her dressing from accessories to bottoms from slippers to tees everything was from high end brands. Her wardrobe was beautifully arranged which made her amuse every time but even that too couldn't help making her smile. Now finally Lexi's mother came up with a new idea. It was to her all time go-to place 'Amusement park'. Now again Lexi and her parents went on a family day out with their driver. 

Lexi reached there and with a swift she took all of the rides and games which were aerodynamic. From dangerous to dangerous one she sat on every ride without any fear. She took roller coaster, water rides, thrilling rides, merry go round, Flying Elephant, Cinderella's Golden Carrousel and Mad Tea Party, had tasty food, enjoyed puppet show ,traditional music and dance and  live entertainment. Screaming! Laughing! Teasing! All that we can call fun was included. Food to eat like cupcakes, pizzas, pancakes, coffee, waffles etc. Now when the time came to visit freaking house she felt apathetic but still entered. She went inside with head held high but returned with goosepimples on arms and heart thumping loudly. It never happened before because whenever she went to a haunted house she came out with sweats nothing else but because of the tragedy which happened a few days back made her go numb. 

Lexi made her normal by going through all the fun she had. Her parents were very happy that Lexi is feeling better but also worried and wishing about everything going good till end. Finally she left from there and sat in the car. She herself didn't realized when did she slept in the car as she was super exhausted. They reached home finally, it was evening everyone went to their rooms to take rest. Lexi even went but before entering the room within a second, she screamed and ran to her parents room. That scream wasn't expected from anyone especially from her parents as they thought that it was a happy ending, but no Lexi's fate wasn't. Her parents eager to know now what has happened. Lexi with an angst replied "cockroach in her room." Her parents laughed and found that silly but cute. 

Then finally Lexi entered her room and again screamed and ran to her parents room. This time her scream was much louder than before. Her parents knew again she met with a cockroach.Before Lexi could say anything, her  mother said "it's okay nothing to worry from that cockroach he will leave without teasing you." and her parents laughed. Lexi looked serious, then she replied "Nope! it's not a cockroach. My room is so shabby and my wardrobe is robbed. All my collection of clothes, watches, shoes, and everything and nothing is left." Her parents got a bolt out of blue and ran to her room. And it was true, Lexi started crying as everything she bought was from her own savings. And then she talked about a box which she needed at any cost as it was very closeto  her heart. Lexi didn't told about this box to anyone not even to her parents. Even more than her exclusive and classy collection from her closet she wanted that small old red box. But she didn't stated any reason behind that. Now Lexi's father promised her to get the box and everything which was stolen. 

Her parents were sure that the thief is from any of the worker as they had a tight security and the thief knew that their CCTV cameras aren't working. There were three more workers excluding the driver. Her parents wanted to first enquiry themselves and if needed then only they would call the cops as Lexi was a bundle of nerves and couldn't stop herself crying. Her parents first talked to the housekeeper he said that he was cleaning the lawn and washing the clothes. Then they talked to the second housekeeper he replied that he was cleaning the swimming pool . Lastly, the cook, he answered that he was making lunch for them. And finally they caught the thief red hand. And it was the cook as they were out the whole day so for whom the cook was making lunch.

Her parents threatened the cook and asked him to return him everything back and just buzz off from here otherwise they will call the cops. The cook agreed and returned everything he stole and the red box too. Lexi screamed with laughter and took her red box and made herself alienate. She opened the red box and started crying. There was a rotten rose and a dirty necklace. She hold the rose and went to the flashback. That rose was given to Lexi by Ron on friendship day. It was more than a year ago Lexi has kept it safe and hidden like a treasure. She kept it back in the box very gently. Then she took that necklace and remembered what happened. 

It was about ten years back when Lexi was in school. It was given by her best friend Kyra as a souvenir because it was last day of Kyra's day in that school as she was shifting to America. Kyra didn't stated the reason for her transfer to anyone except Lexi. Lexi busted out with tears as the reason was terrifying. And before going through that she just kept the necklace back in the red box and slept with the red box tight in her arms. The next morning Lexi's parents found Lexi's eyes swollen as if she cried a lot. They thought that because of the robbery she cried but the reason was the box. Her parents didn't asked Lexi about the box as they didn't felt okay in that.

 Now the thing was that what next step will be taken by Lexi's parents? Her mother grew up with an idea with which they guaranteed that Lexi will be fine. Will seek about that in the next chapter? What was that idea and will that work or not? Will Lexi be fine after that?
