Chapter-5 EYE WINK

Then George entered in between. It was dark pitch night. Lightning crashed and thunderclapped. A cool breeze went making Lexi shiver. George arrival was out of the common. His presence was exceptional. He gave a bright arrogant smile. Lexi was confused that is George at her side or them? (as usual). Lexi and Ron were standing parallel to each other and Emma was standing next to Ron. George was coming. Now Lexi was eagerly waiting that will George stop at Ron's side or will come forward and will stand next to her.

George stopped at Ron's side. He saw Ron's and Emma's face and then started giggling. Then his next move was miraculous. He stepped forward and forward and reached at Lexi's side and made a high five with her. Lexi was at sixes and sevens and her mind was getting unclear. George with enthusiasm and a bold voice initiated "Hey all! I am sorry to interrupt you Lexi. Don't worry I am here to make things sorted. So yeah Lexi I can see doubts on your face. First let me make you clear that I am at your side."

Lexi started crying and replied "I am sorry Gorge. Please apologize me. I was making you a beast in my mind. I never imagined that you would be my knight in shining armour. Pardon me please." Then George tee-heed and explained "OH please don't be so formal with me. Its okay its not your mistake. You know what the days that break you ,are the days that make you. Forget about it and focus on this."

Ron smirked and replied "Hey George! How come you here? Well doesn't matter. I know you are joking. Lexi can't help herself, how can you help her?" Then Emma replied "George its better you leave. There is nothing you can do here?"

Then George replied "OMG overconfidence. Well I have something interesting to say Lexi said right Karma will hit you back. Its perfectly true. Now you would be thinking how I know what Lexi said, actually I was standing behind and I was listening to you three. Hmm So I got a present for you all. Wait let me show you." George was wearing a big bag overloaded with stuff and trying hard to search something into it. Then he continued speaking " Where is my weapon? Don't worry its not going to harm you physically at least. Ok I got it. So here it is, my camera. So this not an ordinary camera like containing pictures and videos of food or vacation or songs or girls and boys gossips or blahs and blahs. Well I would be interested to hear girls gossips, hehehe just kidding" George was waiting for everyone to laugh but he realised that his joke was funny but his timings were not right. Then he saw everyone was silent only he was speaking. He asked everyone to speak but everyone was interested to be a good listener.

He continued speaking "So this camera caught you both red handed and it contains all the conversation with video of whatever was going on here since last few hours. So Emma and Ron what would you like to say? or you got all numb?" George showed the whole recording to them. Lexi didn't knew how to react she was even in shock and also bursting with delight. Emma and Ron were looking at each other and then Ron shouted " Emma run!" They both were in the motion to run and then they both were surrounded with police.

It all happened in a fraction of seconds. Destiny changed its way to the road of satisfaction. Ron and Emma were sweating and were dying of nervousness. Lexi was crying and was thanking God for whatever he did. George was showing the video to police. Then George asked to Ron and Emma " What would you like to say before getting arrested for a couple of years?"

Emma initiated with a dull voice " I know I am so late to confess it. But Lexi is right Ron. I was the one who changed the clients list. I was the one who spread the rumour of leave from work and asked Lexi to convey the same to Ron. I was the one who filled made- up story into Ron's mind. I was the one who raised fire of revenge in Ron's mind. I was jealous of your friendship and Lexi's position. I am sorry to everyone. Now I would like to take a leave. Sir you can arrest me know."

Then Ron initiated with tear filled eyes "What Emma? Please tell me its a lie. how can you do this to me. Lexi I am sorry for whatever I did. I was having full trust on you, But this dirty mind girl made me do all this.Thus what I can say and I deserve all this."

Lexi replied "Its not your mistake Ron, Emma was the one who played this disgusting game. Police inspector please leave Ron its not his fault." Then George replied "Lexi you would might accept his sorry but in laws eyes he is a criminal as he and Emma killed Mr. Robert. Inspector please take both of them away. Ron should have a sense of what is wrong and right. And Lexi not every sorry deserves an its okay. Remember this."

Ron and Emma were about to leave and then Ron asked to George " George how come you got to know that today we were going to reveal the plan of our wrong doing?" Then George replied "Good question. I won't tell you this. But let me tell you it was your mistake. Something you both let unnoticed. Now you both would be having ample of time to think about it. So, bye take care. Hope to never meet you again."

Ron and Emma went. Only George and Lexi were there on the road. It was silence. Then Lexi asked and sounded very curious " Yes George how did you got to know about their plan to reveal?" George replied with an eye wink " LEAVE IT FOR FUTURE."
