Chapter 5

Noah's POV
I woke up at 2:30 this morning to catch a flight to see Dix. It feels like it's been forever since i've seen her. When I got to her house I texted her mom and she let me in the house. I went up to Dixie's room and slowly got onto her bed and wrapped my arms around her being careful not to wake her. I kissed her head and fell asleep.

Dixie's POV
I woke up at 7:30 and I felt arms wrapped around me. I turned around and saw Noah and i started crying. I jumped on top of him and hugged him the tightest I ever have.

Dixie-"Baby!"
Noah-"Hi bub"
Dixie-"I missed you so much"
Noah-"I missed you too"
Dixie-"Can you take me to school? Please"
Noah-"Of course baby. You need to start getting ready though"
Dixie-"Can I have your hoodie?"
Noah-"I gave you one baby"
Dixie-"But I want the one you have on. The other one lost your scent"
Noah-"Fine"

Noah took off his hoodie and gave it to me and i ran to my closet and put it on with some jeans. I brushed my hair and teeth and started to put on makeup. Noah came up and hugged me from behind.

Noah-"You don't need that"
Dixie-"need what?"
Noah-"makeup. You're so beautiful without it."
Dixie-"you're so cute bubba. Can you just make me your girlfriend already?"
Noah-"Baby. Be patient. I will very soon. I promise"
Dixie-"You better or i'll ask you myself"
Noah-"How do you know id say yes"
Dixie-"You would say no me?"*🥺*
Noah-"No no. Baby that was a joke. I'm sorry don't be sad."
Dixie-"I love you"
Noah-"I love you too. Now let's go get in the car"

We got into the car and Noah drove me to school. We got there early so we just sat in the car and talked.

Dixie-"How long are you here for baby?"
Noah-"I leave sunday night"
Dixie-"I only get 3 days with you baby?"
Noah-"I know i'm sorry. I have work though Dix. I still love you"
Dixie-"I know I love you too. I just realized...we haven't kissed since you got here. I need kisses."
Noah-"anything for you"

We started making out. We weren't worried about anyone seeing because of Noah's tinted windows. After about 5 minutes we stopped and I grabbed my bag from the back seat and got out of the car. I went over to Noah's door and he rolled down the window.

Noah-"I'll be here to get you as soon as schools over. We're going on a date"
Dixie-"Are you asking me or telling me?"
Noah-"Little bit of both?"
Dixie-" I would love to go on a date with you"
Noah-"Ok i'll see you after school princess. Don't let that Nessa girl get to you today. You're the only girl I want."
Dixie-"Thank you baby"

I kissed Noah and we stared at each other and smiled then I walked into school. As I walked in crowd of people surrounded me.

School kids-"Dixie did you just kiss Noah Beck? Are you guys dating? How long have you known him"
Dixie-"Guys hes just my friend I don't what you guys are talking about"
School Kids-"Can you get me an autograph Dixie please? Can you get him to follow me on tik tok?"
Dixie-"He's not an object. I can't make him do anything. He's my friend he'll follow you if he wants to."

I wanted to badly to scream that he was mine but technically he wasn't...not yet at least.

later that day after school

I walked outside and saw Noah. I smiled and ran to his car and got in as fast as i could. Of course a crowd of people followed me.

Dixie-"Hi baby"
Noah-"Hi beautiful. how was school?"
Dixie-"Good but everyone was asking you and what we are"
Noah-"You didn't say anything did you baby?"
Dixie-"No...but if I did would you be mad?
Noah-"Baby! Did you say something?!"
Dixie-"No I didn't I promise. Baby I promise I didn't say a thing. I said we were friend and that was it."
Noah-"Ok princess i believe you. I love you"
Dixie-"I love you too. Kisses?"
Noah-"always baby"

Noah leaned over and kissed me twice and we pulled away and he drove off being careful not to hit all of the other high schoolers around the car.

Dixie-"So where are we going for our date."
Noah-"The movies. I rented out an entire room
just for us"
Dixie-"Baby! That's so cute!" *🥺*
Noah-"I'd do anything for my baby"
Dixie-"How did i get so lucky"
Noah-"I should be the one asking that question"
Dixie-"You're the cutest"

We got to the movie theater and went inside.

Dixie-"what are we even watching baby"
Noah-"I got them to play Cat in The Hat just for you"
Dixie-"Were you stalking my spam account"
Noah-"Maybe...Yes...I needed to know about my girl"
Dixie-"I love you"
Noah-" I love you too"

I kissed Noah and we sat down and watched the movie. I started getting visibly cold so Noah pulled me into his lap laid my head on his shoulder.

Noah's POV

Dixie started to get comfortable on me and I was just hoping she didn't fall asleep. It would ruin the entire surprise. The movie ended and Luckily Dixie was still awake.

Dixie's POV
The movie ended and i started to get up but Noah grabbed my waist and pulled me into his lap and told me to look at the screen

Dixie-"Are you serious?"
Noah-"Yeah. Will you be my girlfriend?"
Dixie-"Yes! Of Course I'll be your girlfriend"

I turned around and kissed Noah

Dixie-"You're really my baby"
Noah-"I always have been...and I always will be. You're mine."
Dixie-"I know you don't wanna te-"
Noah-"Dont finish that. I wanna tell the world. I want everyone to know that you're mine...but not until you're ready."
Dixie-"I want us to stay private for a little. I want it to be just us before we tell the whole world"
Noah-"Ok baby. That's fine with me"
Dixie-"I love you"
Noah-"I love you too"

We kissed and went outside to Noah's car and sat and talked for a while then he took me home and we facetimed all night.
