Chapter 3

The Next Day

Noah's POV

I leave today and normally i'd be happy to go back home and get a break but I don't want to leave Connecticut...I don't want to leave Dixie. I packed my bags last night and I told Blake that i'd send him an address to pick me up from when we go to the airport. I sent him Dixie's address. I ubered to her house and knocked on the door. I had to see her before I left.

Dixie's POV

It was 6:20 in the morning and someone knocked on the door.

Heidi-"Dixie get the door!"
Dixie-"Ok!"

I walked to the door rubbing my eyes from being so tired. I hoped the door and blinked a few times to make sure I was seeing things correctly. I was it was Noah. I jumped into his arms and hugged him as tight as I could.

Dixie-"Hi"
Noah-"Hi beautiful girl"
Dixie-"What are you doing here"
Noah-"You really thought I would leave without saying goodbye"
Dixie-"I don't know. I was hoping you wouldn't"
Noah-"I would've been dumb if I did. Can I have a kiss now?
Dixie-"You can always have kisses"

I kissed Noah and he moved his hands to my butt and we started making out. Until someone had to interrupt...you guessed it...my dad.

Marc-"What did I tell you about you hand and lips and my daughter!?"
Noah-"I'm so sorry Mr.D'amelio"

Noah tried putting me down but I kept my legs wrapped around him

Dixie-"No! Don't put me down. I need you to hold me."
Noah-"But you dad"
Dixie-"I don't care! Hold me."
Marc-"Dixie get off of him now
Dixie-"No!"
Marc-" Dixie Jane D'amelio"
Dixie-"Go away dad. You're ruining the moment. I don't know when i'll see him again"
Noah-"I won't make you wait too long I promise"
Marc-" Dixie Inside now"
Dixie-"No dad! Mom!!"
Heidi-"Marc leave the kids alone!"
Marc-"You have 15 minutes"
Noah-"I'll be gone by then sir. I have a flight to catch"

My dad went back into the house and closed the door behind him. I stayed in Noah's arms. I leaned my head into his neck and started kissing it.

Noah-"What are you doing beautiful"
Dixie-"I don't know.Anything I can to stay right here with you as long as possible."
Noah-"Hey look at me"

I looked into Noah's eyes and smiled and he did the same to me.

Noah-"I'm gonna be back in a few weeks. It'll be just us."
Dixie-"But my dad won't let me g-"
Noah-"I may or may not have talked to your mom about when he leaves. He won't be here"
Dixie-"You're so perfect"
Noah-"No it's definitely you"
Dixie-"I'm gonna miss you so much"
Noah-"I'm gonna miss you too. But i'm really gonna miss those kisses."
Dixie-"I'm gonna miss your hoodies"
Noah-"Do you want this one?"
Dixie-"Wait really?"
Noah-"Of course. Do you want it?"
Dixie-"I want anything that'll remind me of you"
Noah-"Here"

Noah took off his hoodie and gave it to me. I jumped off of him and put it on. It was perfect.

Noah-"You like good in my clothes. But now i need something to remember my girl"
Dixie-"Your girl?!"
Noah-"You beautiful. Not anyone else. I could never want anyone more than i want you?"
Dixie-"Then ask me out. I promise you i'll say yes"
Noah-"Not yes princess. Be patient."
Dixie-"are you ever even gonna ask me"
Noah-"I'd be an idiot if i didn't. I'm gonna you baby just wait"
Dixie-"Did you just call me... baby?"
Noah-"I-I'm sorry Dixie"
Dixie-"Don't be sorry... baby"
Noah-"Fuckkkk i love you"
Dixie-"I love you too"

I leaned in to kiss Noah and someone drive into the driveway and honked. Noah and I jumped and hit heads.

Noah-"Omg baby i'm so sorry"
Dixie-"It's okay i'm gone baby"
Blake-"Let's go Noah!"
Noah-"One second!... I love you baby. I promise i'll come see you soon."
Dixie-" You better because i'm gonna miss you"
Noah-"I'm gonna miss you too"

Noah leaned in to kiss me and before he reached me I grabbed my bracelet from my wrist.

Dixie-"wait here...wear this""
Noah-"What is it"
Dixie-"It's something my brother bought for me before we ummm... before he died but it has DJD on it. My initials to remind you of me"
Noah-"I'll never take it off baby. Now can i have a kiss "
Dixie-"Yeah"
I bit my lip and went up on my tippy toes and kissed noah. He but his hands on my butt again and we started making out.
Blake-"Dude we have a flight to catch. You'll see her later"
Noah-"Coming Blake! I have to go now but i'll be back I promise."
Dixie-"Please don't wait too long to come back. I need you baby"
Noah-"I'm gonna call you everyday and we can facetime every night until you fall asleep. I'll be back as soon as i can."

We hugged one last time and gave each other one last peck on the lips and that was it. He was gone. I went up to my room and locked the door and cried. He just left and I already miss him

Noah's POV
I miss her already. I love that girl so much. Whenever I see her again i'm making her mine. I can't leave her out i'm connecticut single with all of those boys. She needs to be mine. I looked down at the bracelet and kissed it. She's gonna be my baby forever
