Chapter 6

The Next Day

Dixie's POV

I got out of bed early and started getting ready for school because I knew Noah would be here to get me soon. I threw on another one of his hoodies and some leggings, brushed my hair down and put on some light makeup. About 20 minutes after i finished getting ready I heard Noah outside and I ran and got in the car.

Dixie-"good morning baby"
Noah-"Good morning my beautiful girl"
Dixie-"kisses?"
Noah-"always"

We kissed a few times then Noah started driving me to school with his hand on my thigh. I just started and him with so many thoughts going through my head..."That's my boyfriend! He's mine! I'm Noah Beck's Girlfriend! Why did he choose me? Does he really wanna be with me? Is he just using me? Dixie stop thinking so much" I was really letting myself think my boyfriend was just using me...and I let the thoughts take over again but this time they were real words.

Dixie-"Noah?"
Noah-"Did I do something wrong? You called me Noah"
Dixie-"No baby you didn't i'm sorry. I was just thinking...why me? You could have any girl you wanted but you picked boring old me."
Noah-"Dixie I don't care about any other girl. You're the one person that could catch my attention in a crowd of people. Youre beautiful and that smile is the most perfect one i've ever seen...whenever you giggle I get these tingles in my body that just prove to me how much I need you. You make me feel different baby. When i'm with you I feel free. I don't feel like I have to be perfect.
Dixie-"You don't have to be perfect around me. Because i'm gonna love you no matter what. Always. I'm glad I can make you feel that way."
Noah-"Do you need me to tell you more or do you understand?"
Dixie-"I get it baby. You love me...I love you too."
Noah-"I don't just love you. I'm in love with you baby"
Dixie-"Really? You're In Love?"
Noah-"I've never been in love but I'm pretty sure this is how it feels and you don't have to say it back yet. I just caught feelings fast. I want you to wait until you're ready to say it."
Dixie-"I will baby. I do love you though. A lot"
Noah-"I know beautiful"

A few minutes later we got to my school and I had a few minutes so we sat in the car and may or may not have made out...ok we did. After about 5 minutes I pulled away.

Dixie-"Ok I have to go not baby"
Noah-"Ok. I'll be here to get you s as soon as school is over"
Dixie-"I know. I love you baby"
Noah-"I love you too beautiful"
Dixie-"One more kiss"
Noah-"You don't have to ask"

We have each other one last peck on the lips then I got my backpack and went into school. I was putting my stuff away in my locker when I heard
Nessa from behind me

Nessa-"So is today the day you finally give me my future husbands number"
Dixie-"And who would that be"
Nessa-"Noah Beck obviously. It's obvious he'd wanna marry someone like me"
Dixie-"Uhmmm let me think...no"

I wanted to slap her then and there. If anyone is marrying Noah it's me...his girlfriend. I just want to scream out that i'm his girlfriend but 1. i'll get laughed at 2.i want us to stay private for a little longer. I slammed my locker and walked to class and since the teacher wasn't there yet i texted Noah
