A Few Days Later
(Noah went back home to LA)

Dixie's POV
Noah's been pretty distant since he left a few days ago. I've been worried about some things but I don't wanna assume. I'm hoping for the best but it's hard to think he's not cheating when he's a famous tik toker and in his boring old girlfriend all the way in Connecticut. I know he's busy working but he usually finds some kind of way to make time to talk to me. He also hasn't been saying that he loves when...well ever anymore.

Noah's POV
I've been so busy working these past few days and my team is trying to get me to do this photo shoot with some random girl but I keep telling them I have to reschedule. I don't wanna do this dumb shoot. I wanna be in Connecticut with my girlfriend and not a care in the world. I just wish Dixie was ready to tell people. I've been having to be distant because I don't wanna tell her about the shoot because I don't wanna make her mad but I also don't want her getting any other ideas.
After hours of sitting in my room thinking I decided to call her.

Dixie:Hi Baby!!!
Noah:Hey Dix
Dixie:Dix? Why Dix?
Noah: That's your nickname isn't it
Dixie: Yeah but like what about babe or baby or bub anything but Dix.

Noah:I know but babe this is a big shoot for me. It could be the most money I ever make from modeling

Noah:If we do the shoot we still have until the pictures are edited and sent back for you to decide if you wanna be public about us and post then
Dixie:I feel like it'll be so awkward.
Noah: Ok be fun baby. Let me know by Friday babe. I have to get you a ticket to the Bahamas if you're gonna do it
Dixie: The Bahamas!!!??
Noah: Oh yeah. It's a shoot for this new hotel there. It's right on the ocean and is really romantic. That's why i'd rather do it with you than anyone else
Dixie: I'll think about it babe but I have to get to field hockey practice

Am I ready for all of this?? Confirming our relationship means opening it up for everyone to criticize. I don't want us to break up over something like that. I want to tell people he's mine but I don't at the same time. I don't even know what to do at this point.
